The Movich Pereira is a beautiful hotel with outstanding staff — especially Mr. Jefferson at breakfast, who is professional, kind, and a true example of great hospitality. The front desk team was also fantastic and very accommodating.
However, there are serious issues that need attention. The billing system is confusing — checking “con servicios” shows 8%, but it’s actually 10%. Room service receipts were sometimes changed (for example, my handwritten tip of 2,000 COP was entered as 2,500 COP).
In addition, there is a dishonest bartender who refused to provide a bill, took my payment, and never returned my change. The same person did this to me during my stay in March, which is unacceptable.
Finally, the bed in room 621 was extremely hard — I could feel the springs and woke up each morning with back pain.
The property, breakfast team, and front desk staff are excellent, but billing honesty and the bar staff’s conduct urgently need to be addressed.
