The Stay was ok, The hotel has a lot of rooms and only 20 parking spaces, they were telling people to park on Dixon a side street. The problem was it was snowing for days and the road was all slush and water. I asked why they didn't use the two vans they have as courtesy shuttles because people were parking up to a half mile away. The response from staff was they can't. Made no sense. The room was ok, except the open wifi didn't work the signal wasn't strong enough to work a moment I had to go to he lobby area with all the kids and families it was loud. I was on the 3rd floor. The breakfast had some issues, the waffle maker was not clean, it looked like a bbq grille that hadn't been cleaned. Its all they had too, no eggs, bacon or anything. Cereal and bagels, and waffles. It wasn't a horrible experience but I expected more from Charlevoix.

While the Hotel Earl is a clean, modern, and perfectly located gem near downtown Charlevoix, my off-season stay was a mixed bag due to winter conditions and maintenance hurdles. The room was immaculate and the front desk staff was incredibly polite and accommodating, but the experience was dampened by an unplowed parking lot and the loss of major amenities, including a closed pool and hot tub due to a leak and an unattended lobby bar. Because I booked through a third-party vendor, no compensation could be offered for these missing features—and I even ended up paying for my full two-day reservation despite checking out a day early—but as I wasn't there on vacation, it was a manageable trade-off. I would certainly return during the peak season to experience the hotel at its full potential, especially to enjoy the rooftop bar overlooking the lake.

We were moved to another room after the first night due to a water issue. The second room had a much smaller bathroom and less water pressure, but both were very comfortable and had lovely views. Breakfast was great but the bar was inconsistently staffed.
