The main downside was that the staff couldn't get the TV working properly in our room. A very diligent effort was made to correct the problem but to no avail. The owner let us use another room to watch TV in to watch a baseball game. However, because of a rain delay of the game, it was switched to another network. After several attempts to get it to the right channel, I gave up and returned to my room. Other than that we had a very nice stay.

This place made you slow down and feel as if you went back in time. Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The neighborhood is so beautiful with Victorian homes all around. The downtown was very close.

This was a nice stay, and a good price for a historic inn. The room was a bit cramped, as is typically the case with historic inns, but it was well-appointed and we had everything we needed. The towels were especially nice. The breakfast was excellent.

No elevator. Put on 3rd floor( asked for 1st) and we are elderly women. No one helped us down stairs with all our luggage. Room was extremely small and bathroom since next to twin bed. Mattress squeaks. Breakfast included in price and only cold items until Saturday. Had sausage links. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

The Terrace Inn is an amazing property and is the perfect way to experience the charm of Bay View. Room was very clean, staff was exceptionally friendly. Highly recommend talking to the front desk prior to making your reservation to ensure your room meets your needs. We had a standard queen room and the shower was about 30”x30” with a shower head height of around 5’2” high. It was a struggle. King rooms might have better bathrooms.

It is in a great location, but if you have anything like vertigo or trouble walking on leaning floors, you should maybe not stay here. My brother felt dizzy because of two different leanings on the floors and the TV was up at the 10 foot ceiling level and we needed to leave a day early because of this and another dental emergency. It would've been nice to have had our second night refunded. I'm sure they could probably rent the rooms again. The staff was snippy and the breakfast was very sparse and cold.

Nice but not so comfortable

The place is nice and clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Bed was horrendous. Hard as a rock and need to be updated. Can easily hear neighbors beside, above, and below. Older crowd here.
