Great Hosts

This home really exceeded our expectations. It was so clean and had everything we could need and want, from kitchen items like utensils and basics like sugar, salt, pepper, and oil. The bathroom has amenities in case you forgot anything. Great closet space to hang clothes. The master bedroom had great shelving in the closets for clothes or anything else needed. House had a couple beach chairs and laundry soap. We were so pleasantly surprised with all these blessings. The only real surprise was that the outdoor patio was actually in the front of the house because there’s no backyard. There is a home ( the owners) attached to the back of this house. So the patio wasn’t as private as I thought it would be. The owners are so respectful of your space. You wouldn’t even know they’re there. It was quite loud in the morning outside because it’s one house away from Bridge Street. But when you’re indoors, you don’t hear the noise from the street. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this location. And we loved being able to walk or bike into town easily.

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful 2nd stay at Green street! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, coffee was stocked, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of thoughtful touches that made us feel at home.The location is perfect - walking distance to downtown, Dairy Grille, and plenty of restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet for relaxing evenings. Gary and Theresa are winderful and incredibly responsive and helpful! This place is 5 stars!

Lovely cottage

This cottage is beautifully appointed, well-stocked, and well-located in Charlevoix. It is close enough to town for a good 10-minute walk to downtown and the phenomenal library, a quick 5-minute drive to lakeside beaches, and far enough from the center to allow easy departure going south. The hosts are gracious and attentive. We would certainly visit again.

Great location with an “at home” feel

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Charlevoix. Great location to Castle Farms and walkable to downtown. Not to mention a couple blocks from dairy grille!! A great outside area with table and chairs with umbrella and other seats with gas fire pit ( which we used being the weather was a little chilly). Inside has comfy seating, large dining table for dinner or games, tv’s in each bedroom, and everything you could need in the kitchen. Easy checkout with minimal effort. The Hoste promptly responded to any questions we had, and we were so pleased with our stay, we called to thank them. We would definitely recommend and can’t wait to plan a visit again!

Home away from home

We were a couple for this spacious cottage. Very nice laundry room, kitchen and dining room. Very clean and thoughtful amenities including beach towels and chairs which we did not need but would be very much appreciated by some. We would stay here again

We loved this house! We were looking for a nice place to stay near town and got lucky when we found this one. It was clean, well maintained, stocked with everything you need, and close enough to walk to all the downtown stores, bars, and restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Perfect home-base in Charlevoix

This has to be cleanest property we’ve stayed in! And so well stocked. Great location to the downtown area. We walked everywhere when the weather cooperated, especially to the Dairy Grille for an after dinner treat.
