No matter the season, this charming, lakefront home is the perfect option for a family vacation or couples retreat. In warm weather, fish, swim, or set off in your own watercraft for a day on beautiful South Twin Lake or hit the snowmobile trails in winter.

Inside this spacious home, you'll find a sprawling great room that includes a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table for six for mealtimes or rainy day board games, and an open living area with plenty of seating for your entire group to enjoy time together.

Outdoors, fire up your gas grill and enjoy a cookout on your furnished deck, or gather at the picnic table on the deck overlooking the lake - a great spot to watch for native water fowl out on the water.

Snowmobile trails

The home was very clean and nice we are snowmobilers and i have to say it was disappointing that we couldnt ride to the trails from tje property and slso the garbage in tje garage was over full

Roomy and spacious but no pier on the lake

The house and yard were very nice, private and spacious. The only complaint was the pier was not installed. This lead us to having to launch our boat at a near by landing each day.

Were very upset we didn't receive notice sooner then one week before check in. That the dock was destroyed because we rented a poontune boat and couldn't cancel 1500.00 contract Luckly we figured a way to more with extra ankers and didn't lose our money.

Ashton house

Very nice, spacious home in a great location. Could use some trimming and landscaping. My main beef is this: my group booked this property for a 2 week fishing getaway. When we arrived, the boat dock shown in the property details was stacked at the boat house. We had nowhere to dock our boat, so we were forced to trailer to the public ramp 6 miles away everyday. That cost us extra gas and a lot of lost fishing time. When i told Vacasa that i wanted some type of compensation....crickets!! Im very disappoinred in the misleading listing and Vacasa's performance.

Nice location but not as advertised

We picked this place because it had a dock and was pet friendly. Well they never told us the dock wasn’t going to be in. Had I known that I wouldn’t have stayed. We had a boat. It was very inconvenient. The beds were rock hard. The lake and location were great however.

Very nice property, but need some maintenance issues taken care of!

This easily could have been five stars, however we had a few minor issues. To start off with, the heat in the home was not working when we arrived! Local property management was quick to arrive at the property to try to correct the issue. Required two different trips by the furnace repair guy. In talking to the property manager, I was told that this was a 'known issue' with this property! Why on earth, with the property in northern Wisconsin in late October (temps in the 34°-45° range) would you think that a defective furnace was okay for renting the home? We had touch and go heat, for the first day and a half of our trip. I have contacted vacasa, and verbo, to discuss a possible small refund for the issue, but no one has reached out to me as of yet. Other things included, clogged shower heads, iced up dehumidifier in the basement causing a very humid indoor climate, and for a fishing destination on one of the premier lakes in northern Wisconsin, it would have been nice to have cleats on the pier to help us moor our boat along with an electrical connection to recharge the boat's batteries! Also, The garbage had not been picked up in weeks possibly months! There was a pile in the garage that was easily from two or three rentals of the place! Again, this was a very nice property, and could have easily been five stars, but if you are charging as much as you do per week for rental, it would be nice if you took some of that money and took care of small maintenance issues! Large beautiful lakeside private home

Very accommodating with all the essentials. Loved the large kitchen and open floor plan. We enjoyed watching Netflix; reading books and playing games that were all provided. Private lot with no other houses in site. The pier is the highlight as it’s large enough and stable to sit out at the lake. We liked being able to grill out. (Unfortunately, We had to fill a propane tank as all were empty.) The downside was the house water - extremely high levels of iron, sulfuric smell and it was very hard. It affected the wash and all the faucets. I would also prefer no carpeting in the bedrooms as this is a dog friendly place and there were stains on the carpets upon our arrival. Overall, we would recommend for future stays and would love it if there was a fire pit.
