This Hampton is very convenient in regard to being close to the much more expensive convention hotel and the cost is quite reasonable. One issue perhaps of course is that it is in an area that has some poverty issues and consequent manifestations, but again, it is the best value for attending this annual convention when it is held in Philadelphia.

Our room was clean but very much smaller than the pictures, however we were comfortable. Hated the area but having constant police presence basically at the door made me feel safer. Be prepared to pay $50 per night for valet parking, its not free and its $100 per night security deposit. The valet hit me in my back with door on his way out of the little valet office that’s just inside the lobby doors and he just walked away, I was pissed!!! Then the First Lady at the front reception that I interacted with had absolutely no customer service training whatsoever, made me wanna just turn back and leave, great way to start our wedding anniversary 🙄. The next morning however this other lady at the front desk was awesome and I let her know I wish she was there the night before. The breakfast buffet was great and everyone else was friendly.
