We checked in and the staff informed us that the hotel had overbooked. They stated that they didn’t have our room for us. We were put in a smaller room without keys for the first night. The next day, I had to convince them to change our room to the king bed suite that I had paid for. They “made something work” and we changed rooms. But, they seemed irritated that I wanted the room I had paid for. When I asked to be credited for the difference in the room for the first night they handed me a card with a number to call and said they couldn’t help me on-site. The room had 1 towel, no extra blankets and took awhile to get those things. The kitchen area had these weird dead bugs I kept finding on the counter. Maybe they were having an off week and this isn’t common. Either way I will not be staying here again.
