Our Casita was originally a mechanic shop, built in 1930 in the heart FQ Story District. Renovated in 2020, blending historic, industrial & modern features into a unique guest experience.
The Casita is a 924 sq. ft, 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a fenced private entrance & yard. The kitchen features a microwave, coffee pot, hot plate, & toaster oven with charcoal grill outside. The casita was perfect for our stay. It was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and walking distance to restaurants (about a mile), ice cream (1/2 mile), and the Arizona State Fair. Really nice place to stay. The temperature was always comfortable as was the furniture. My kids enjoyed the Pac-Man arcade. It was a little off-putting at first, having to get around three cars to get to the gate for the stay, but after that we were happy to be there. Only stayed one night with friends but overall had a great experience. Really good communication with owner and he even let us check in an hour early which was very kind. Very clean place and fully stocked with dishes and silverware. AC was a big plus in the hot AZ weather.

I would just recommend a new sponge for washing dishes as ours was a little smelly. Would also recommend changing the picture of the coffee maker on the listing as we brought coffee filters for a coffee pot and the coffee maker ended up needing coffee pods. Lastly, I would make it a little bit more convenient for people to walk into the property as the gravel was challenging with luggage and there was limited lighting. Otherwise, it was great.
