Perfect spot

This hotel was perfectly situated. I lived the campus being right there, the walkability of it. I went to the musical festival solo and felt safe walking home each night. The parking garage is well lit, nearby and safe

Great staff

We flew in to watch a softball tournament and were immediately greeted by the best front desk staff. They gave us so many food and dessert options for our stay. Hotel was clean we will definitely be staying again.

We have stayed at this property for three years while our son attends ASU. We have noticed that the cleanliness has declined considerably. The floors were not vacuumed on floor two the entire time we stayed Feb 6-9th. The room we stayed in (226) had dust on the baseboards and the sink plunger was broken. There are many choices in Tempe but we choose to stay at The Hyatt. I hope this is something that can be resolved

Pro's: Rooftop bar/lounging area Friendly staff Within walking distance to Transportation Center Comfortable bed Quiet room Coin-operated laundry facilities Fitness center with a view from the 8th floor Breakfast options were extensive Rooftop bar and main floor bar offered enjoyable appetizers. Con's: Shower water temperature was scalding hot and cold water was non-existent, especially in the early morning hours or late at night. The water burned my legs the first time I used the shower. Unfortunately, I had to obtain a prescription strength ointment and take anti-inflammatories to aid in the healing of my skin. A week after the fact my skin continues to have a noticeable burn. Please be careful when using the shower!!
