ULTRA COZY CASITA BY PHX CHLDREN / BANNER/ST. JOSEPHS HOSPITALS
Make your own memories in this beautiful casita, located minutes from Downtown Phoenix,. ultra comfy and cozy home. The bedroom has a queen bed unlike the pictures shown. There is a couch in the living room has a pullout bed for extra bedding and a airbed. The space is stocked with everything you may need. Your home away from home is a located in the back yard of the main house with your own private driveway and gated entrance. Very quiet neighborhood and great eateries. We can also allow for your own furniture if you wish for a short long term stay.
Now I know why you don't allow for pictures. The neighborhood itself is dirty. Pulling up to the property, the first thing you see is an old hot tub leaning against the fence. The alley to the private driveway is littered with garbage & discarded furniture. The gate is not electronic nor does it lock. The screen door does not have a handle and the front handle didnât lock (just the deadbolt). She did eventually fix the lock. The wifi was unreliable. The Casita was well furnished, but dirty. I spent the first night shopping for cleaning supplies. The floors were oily with a 2-5 inch wide layer of grime along the edges, dried food on the floors & counter. The fridge & cupboards were full of random leftover food, black stains & holes on the walls, grime on all the doors, only one window, and a portable cooler that stopped working. Came home one night to find bedding tossed around the common area (over the fence, the fitepit and bench.) All the planters were full of dead plants or weeds. I was late heading into work one morning because there were a group of homeless people camped outside the gate to the private drive. The owner did respond by calling the police to disperse them. VRBO advertises free cancelations & changes, but they don't disclose that it is up to the owner to fullfill your request. We had to change this booking from 9 wks to 5 weeks & the rate per night doubled so my total was the same & had to negotiate back & forth with owner. Still paid more per night.
I guess the first thing I should say is, Iâm the last person in the world that ever fills any of these things out.
I donât waste my time with surveys, giving emails to stores, so they can send me emails I donât want etc..
This is one of the very few times Iâve taken the time to express the convenience, cleanliness, communication, and overall peaceful and pleasant experience in which I has. The host Saudia, who I believe owns the property, was awesome.
I mentioned this because I listed properties on VRBO before, and also self managed. I did not use a property management company. My experience has show me when the owner is a host prices are cheaper. They care more and the experience left me not just liking the property but liking Saudia.
The property was more than economically reasonable and i had a host that literally would text or call me within 10-15 minutes at most when needed. I was there for three weeks and there were really no issues. Our communication was more of like are there some extra garbage bags, and saudia would have or drop off. Thanks Saudia
Never was put into our actual unit until the following month with nothing but a bed and shower she lied and is trying to say we were wrong plus her freezer was broken and we lost hundreds of dollars of food and dtime
First and foremost, I really appreciate the availability of the the owner. A mix up at first, but was upgraded and it made my stay even better! Happy to be leaving the heat.
The property was exactly what I needed to transition from Washington to Arizona! Everything went smooth from reservation through turning in the VRBO keys and moving into my own home.
