Absolutely awesome service! The hotel is centrally located.... close to shopping areas and the beach! While it's not a 5-star facility.... the Service is definitely 5-star! I would certainly recommend this hotel!

Grand Mediorce not Mericure

You should never feel the kind of disappointment my husband and I felt while staying here on our honeymoon. Upon arrival our hotel room at first glance seemed nice but if you took a closer look, dust lined the ceilings of our room. Our beach towels that were provided to us looked like their was blood stains on them. We went to conceirge and expressed our concern and politely asked for new towels. The man at the conceirge got us new towels that were not much better then actually asked us if we could bring the dirty ones back to our room. House cleaning would extremely slow and several days we were left with a dirty room. When we’d call to ask for more towels because house cleaning failed to get to our room before we’d get back to it, it took what seemed like forever to finally receive clean towels to bath. One night we actually had to call 3 times and it took over an hour and a half. The thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that hotel staff were clearly trying to take advantage of their guest and their money. We noticed that the hotel wood arrange for a taxi to shuttle you to the airport when you checked out and was charging 1500 baht. The taxi stand directly out front of the hotel only charges 800 baht if you walk outside and ask them yourself. It’s convienant that you can book tours through the hotel but once you realize that they charge you more then double the price of the tour of you booked it on your own from online place or stand outside on the street.

Oasis

Perfect. Walking distance to everything. Book excursions a few days ahead as they fill up, pool bar great. Breakfast buffet though pricey for the area tarts at 6:30 which is great when the rest of the city is still asleep until 10.

Excellent but could be better, suggestions:

Spent 10 days in a Villa. Very nice overall. Staff friendly and attentive. If you're debating on staying here, go for it. Suggestions: - buffet. Send a manager on a vacation outside Thailand to an upscale resort and look at how they run their buffets. Copy that. I would recommend a cruise ship for the ideas. In general: it's awkward and doesn't flow well. Guests are in each other's way trying to get food. Everything should be setup and staged for efficiency. Think of the flow of traffic and smoothness. Food items should rotate. Not the same items every day. The omlet bar should not be in the center. It should be stand alone on the side with room for guests to line up. Look how others cook their omlets as well. Same ingredients cooked differently would taste better. Coffee is to strong, go American style. Have small pitchers at each table, your employees are overworked and can barely keep up, first thing that stopped was coffee/tea service. Full initial cups filled when seating guests. Will send a friendly message that way. Trying having a buffet setup for each meal, themed. Like Mexican or Italian. Keep it small and easy to restock so you don't have too much food out and cost will be low. If you overhaul your buffet system you will triple your profit. Have person playing guitar or piano playing softly in restaurant. Overall, it will change the feel of entire hotel stay. I could go on, visit 4 star resort in Sydney or USA. GET IDEAS.
