A paradise within a paradise
This is a beautiful, grown up place to stay. Our room was immaculately clean, yet had lots of personal touches. The bed was so comfortable and the ensuite shower room was spacious and perfect for us. The sitting rooms are peaceful with coffee, biscuits and a range of Spanish art books to flick through. The property is set in its own beautiful garden where you can wander around or sit in peace and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains. Breakfast is fabulous and Maria Antonia is a lovely host. Our only regret was that we were there for only one night. Next time we'll stay longer. It's the perfect place to unwind and de-stress!

Reach the beach from the hills
Beautifully restored house, delicious breakfasts. Very friendly. Village very quiet except for cowbells but it's in beautiful hills, much more picturesque than Villaviciosa which is only 20 minutes away.

Preciosa casa indiana con un jardín espectacular.
El hotel es tan bonito como aparece en las fotos. Está lleno de detalles con mucho gusto y la limpieza es exquisita. El desayuno es excelente (cantidad, calidad, presentación). Lo tomamos casi todos los días en el maravilloso jardín acompañado de música jazz...un placer. Por último, la atención de M° Antonia y Paco inmejorable. Sin duda, un lugar para volver.

La casona del viajante
Nuestra estancia ha sido durante el puente del pilar, estuvimos tres días y el resumen ha sido maravilloso. Desde la recepción ya te encuentras como en casa, la amabilidad del personal es absoluta y las instalaciones son muy acogedoras. Las habitaciones son como pequeños museos de decoración, no falta detalle alguno, jabones ecológicos, muebles artesanos, buena iluminación... El patio que rodea la casa es increíble y dispone de un cenador y tumbonas para disfrutar de las vistas que ofrece el lugar. También dispones de una cafetera y varias estancias para relajarte, pudiendo ojear las decenas de libros que hay o tomarte una copa nocturna en uno de sussalones.Por la mañana decidimos coger el desayuno en el propio hotel, todo un acierto, pudimos disfrutar de café con tostadas, acompañado de diversos panes (maiz y pipas, pasas, integral con semillas...) también dispones de mermelada de arándanos, tomate natural triturado, bizcocho casero, mantequilla... En otra bandeja nos encontramos diferentes quesos, lacon, jamón serrano... Y para rematar te ofrecen huevos con bacon y croissant a la plancha por si te parece poco lo anterior. Después del desayuno, nos comentaron unas visitas por diferentes lugares que añadimos a nuestra agenda y completaron la ruta que teníamos prevista. Total, nuestra estancia ha sido inmejorable en gran parte por las dos personas maravillosas que regentan ese rinconcito de ensueño y por la majestuosidad de las tierras asturianas. Volveremos sin duda.

SOLO TRASPASAR LA PUERTA PRINCIPAL DE LA CASONA DEL VIAJANTE YA TIENES LA CERTEZA DE QUE ACERTASTE EN LA ELECCION PARA PASAR 4 DIAS EN ASTURIAS, TANTO POR LAS ATENCIONES RECIBIDAS POR PARTE DE SUS ANFITRIONES, MARIA ANTONIA Y PACO, COMO POR LA DECORACION INTERIOR QUE CON TAN BUEN GUSTO HA LOGRADO TRANSFORMAR MARIA ANTONIA ESTA CASA EN UN LUGAR DE "LUJO", NO DEL QUE SE PUNTUA POR ESTRELLAS SINO POR LOS DETALLES QUE TE VAN SORPRENDIENDO DURANTE LA ESTANCIA. La Casona del Viajante ideal
Para conocer Asturias fabuloso, ya que se encuentra muy bien situado. A pocos kilómetros de los lugares más visitados de Asturias. La atención en la Casona diría que no puede ser mejor, tanto Paco como María Antonia se preocupan de que la estancia sea perfecta. Nada más llegar nos dieron información de la zona y de puentes de interés para visitar. El desayuno si lo cogen es estupendo. Nos sorprendió los miles de detalles de la casa. Sin duda muy buen gusto en su decoración. En definitiva totalmente recomendable. Nos fuimos muy contentos. Aunque no viene a cuento, nos gustó mucho Villavicosa como pueblo cercano a la Casona.
