Happy Holidays from Casa Cardinal- 15 min to Callaway's Fantasy in Lights

Whether you plan to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary, or enjoy a few days of "family time", we welcome you to Casa Cardinal. Rock on the porch, or go for long walks in the woods, then enjoy cooking in a completely outfitted kitchen. Savor the sounds of nature, or watch streaming TV. This is a custom built cabin offering a peaceful retreat! and located, literally, at the end of the road at Mountain Top. As you'll see from the most sweeping porch in the resort, cardinals, hummingbirds, deer and other wood critters appreciate the remoteness, and so will you.

All year 'round, you'll enjoy the ever changing panorama from the porch rockers and swing: spring blooms, summer shade, or cascade of fall color. If you're a winter hiker, you'll return to a roaring fire in the stone fireplace. Two bedrooms, two baths and a loft - sleeps 4 adults or a couple with 2 children comfortably. The decor is cozy and welcoming without being too frilly, or too "country"... just your "home away from home". The entrance ramp and interior, master bath and bedroom, were built to accommodate guests with mobility restrictions on the first floor but is not completely to ADA. On a rainy afternoon, the upstairs loft provides a comfy reading nook, skylight and a second full bath. Fully furnished for a weekend, or a few weeks, "mi casa es tu casa".

Casa Cardinal is located a few miles from Callaway Gardens and Warm Springs, in a small private development surrounded by FDR Park. Picturesque setting, well outfitted kitchen with full sized stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, and all the pots, utensils, glassware and dishes you’ll need! Linens & soap provided; W/D on first floor.

Such a warm and inviting cabin in a gorgeous, secluded forest setting. Well equipped kitchen for making your own meals. Lots of restaurants in surrounding communities. Some closures during the holidays, but Callaway Gardens restaurants open every day. Kim is an excellent host - provides a wealth of information for your visit and is very gracious. LOVED our second visit to Casa Cardinal!

So quiet!! Great place to unplug and unwind. House is very comfortable and well maintained. Loved the setting. Located at the end of a road bordering FDR State Park. Callaway Gardens is nearby which offers seasonal events. Decent array of places to eat in several neighboring towns.

Amazing Getaway in the Woods!

This cabin was perfect for my wife and I and her parents, and it had plenty of room to spare! If you're looking for a quiet mountain getaway, this is your place. The woods behind the property were beautiful to walk through, but pay attention to the neighboring property's "No trespassing" paint markers on the trees along the property line. Can't wait to come back!

The property was as listed online. The cabin was very clean and quaint! It is a very quiet location. We enjoyed just being in nature. It is very close to Warm Springs and the Little White House which is a very interesting piece of history to visit. Kim was very prompt to answer any questions and concerns we had!

Cute cozy cabin tucked back in the woods. Conveniently located to Pine Mountain, Warm Springs, and FDR State park. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Host was very responsive and provided very helpful recommendations for the area. Excellent stay, highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Only problem we had was that even though there was a ramp for my father, who is in a wheelchair, it was not easy getting him from the vechicle to the ramp. There was gravel, which i understand why it is there. Would be nice to have ramp more accessible

Peaceful and quiet getaway!

We loved this cabin! It was just what we were looking for to get away for our anniversary! Being at the end of the road , we had gorgeous woods on one side that made sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch just so quiet and peaceful! The shopping was amazing and the food we ate in the many restaurants was delicious! We will definitely return!
