Pungent Smell everywhere

The pungent smell was onset the moment you enter the lobby. The hotel appears to be clean but the smell was every where ...we were waiting to get out of the hotel first thing in the morning !!! Carpets condition said everything

Just OK..there are better nearby options.

location was convenient. property was not great. Smoke detector torn off wall and in a drawer...with two empty packs of cigarettes? Clothes rack torn off wall. Ceiling leaks and stained. Shower bad- shower head non functional. left towels in hall by door for replacement after first day- didn't get replaced. Alarm clock broke. coffee maker broke. Lobby coffee maker empty Sunday AM by 8??? Come on! I NEED coffee! Overwhelming Cigarette/weed smoke smell on 3rd floor. Room light (sconce) not working.

Why pay more

The hotel was everything I needed for comfort, safety and convenience while making a family visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Larger refrigerator than I usually get in a hotel room. Breakfast was far better than what I expected.

There were pubic hairs on the bed when we checked in to the first room along with sheets that had oil marks like someone had literally taken a nap on what was supposed to be a freshly prepared bed. I actually put them on a tissue and brought them down to the clerk to show her, but she refused to look at them - was she not surprised!?? She put us in another room… The toilet seat was blistered with the plastic peeling off. The breakfast area only had the waffle maker. When I inquired about any eggs or sausage, I was told to wait, which I did. Then the eggs were made, but no sausage was ever brought out. I waited over 20 minutes for them. Was not expecting much for free beeakfast, but perhaps - at least - an option? The rolling carts to bring luggage up were both in terrible condition and kept tipping over when pushing them. Also the front glass sliding doors were blocked from entry, so you could only enter through a single file door with the luggage cart.

The room was in poor condition. No towel bar and bent up lamp shades. Very cheap cable so you couldn’t get local service. The breakfast bar was a joke. For example No creamer for coffee and bread selection was 3 slices of stale raisin bread. This was at 8 am. When I asked the clerk about a bagel or English muffin they said sorry we are out
