Great location and great accommodations

We loved our stay here. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. My questions were answered quickly. We loved experiencing wildlife and the woods while being in the city at the same time. Next time we’re in town we would definitely stay here again.

Secluded and Cozy

Derrick was an excellent host. I booked several months in advance and he was always quick to respond to any question I might have. The property was very secluded, well-managed. Check-in was excellent. The property had all of the standard ammenities and was well equiped. Because of the location, we had difficulty with ride share being able to find us but overall, we had a positive experience.

True to the listing and photos...

Clean, comfortable and convenient to the city. Everything seemed new and freshly painted. The coordinated furnishings were well chosen for the property and not just a hodgepodge of stuff the owners no longer needed in their own home. We had a great weekend visiting with our family in Pittsburgh.

Secluded but less comfortable than expected

The house is definitely secluded: at the end of a private drive, next to the forest. However it is also above a major highway and tunnel, so was louder at night than expected. For the price, we were expecting the house to be in better condition, and the beds to be more comfortable. However, overall it was a nice stay. The wood burning stove was great for the winter, and it was cool to see deer in the front yard, while being so close to the city! While secluded, the house was also no more than 15 minutes from any place we wanted to go, so quite convenient.

Great experience!

Derrick was a great host and the property was perfect! He communicated extremely well and it’s obvious he puts time and effort into all the small details in the house. The place was clean, secluded, and the instructions to get there were very helpful. I will definitely put this property at the top of my list for my next stay!

Secluded and peaceful for sure

The house was tucked away in the woods and has been completely redone on the inside. Everything was clean and comfortable. It is really central for downtown events. The owner was very responsive. A great stay all in all!

Senior games in pgh

The host, Derrick, was very easy to work with. Each time i had a question, he responded promptly. The house was very clean, interesting and very comfortable. It was lovely to sit outside in the early evening. It was also very quiet. Wifi and tv worked very well.
