Our 300-foot private dock extends into Lemon Bay offering excellent fishing, a fish cleaning station, guest dockage and frequent dolphin/manatee sightings. A private boat/kayak ramp on the property makes launching kayaks, a paddle board or your own water toys easy. Enjoy the water from the balconies or dock, where you’ll often spot dolphin, manatees, mullet, osprey, pelicans and other wildlife. Bikes are also available for cruising the sandy island roads in search of gopher tortoises, or other island life. The beach is just a short drive, golf cart ride, bike ride, or walk away, offering miles of uncrowded pristine Florida shoreline. Evenings are perfect for board games on the porch, gathering around the fire pit, watching dolphin's surface, or unwinding at the end of the dock as the island quiets down.

*How do I get to the Island?
The island is serviced by the Palm Island Transit Car Ferry located at 2000 Panama Blvd, Englewood, FL 34224
The car ferry pass is $55/car for round trip. You can buy a 10 pack of car ferry passes for $400. When you arrive to the Ferry, there will be car line that you can wait in to get onto the ferry. A ferry ticket can be purchased in the line or on the barge (no need to purchase in advance.) The first mate will tell you when to board and guide you onto the ferry. The ferry trip is usually 5 minutes.

It is recommended that you make golf cart arrangements in advance of your arrival.
*Can I get groceries on Palm Island?
We recommend purchasing groceries before arriving, as there is no full-sized grocery store on the island. A Publix is located near the Palm Island Transit area. Additionally, you can use the Walmart app to order groceries and pick them up at the nearest Walmart on South McCall Rd. If you forget something or run out of staples, Coconut's, located in the Palm Island Resort, offers basic items like milk, eggs, and sunscreen.
Grocery delivery service is available through Palm Island Outfitters (941-468-6262).
*Where can I rent a boat?
You can rent boats through Abe’s Boat Rental. Abe’s boat rental is located at Cape Haze Marina, which is located directly across from our canal entrance.
*Are there restaurants on Palm Island?
Yes. There is one restaurant, Rum Bay, located in Palm Island Resort. Hours: 11:30-8:30pm daily.
*Are there any cameras on the property?
There are 3 Ring cameras on the outside of the property that capture video at the end of the dock, at the back stairs and at the front gate. There are no cameras in the interior of the house or at the pool.
