Villa Stellina is situated on the hilltop of Marathokefala, a beautiful small village surrounded by fields of olive groves and vineyards. Its unique position offers panoramic views over the green hills and fantastic view over Kolimbari.Two minutes by car from Kolimbari the center of the area, four minutes from the coast and twenty minutes from Chania. A rare combination of seclusion and at the same time being close to all kinds of amenities.
in Kolymvari you can find all necessary conveniences, including supermarkets, bakeries, a post-office, bank and ATM machines, petrol stations and a doctor's office.

Nous avons passĂ© d’excellentes vacances pendant 2 semaines dans cette villa au calme, bien situĂ©e et confortable. La sympathique propriĂ©taire a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©active pour rĂ©pondre Ă  nos questions / demandes. Restaurants de qualitĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© (Kolimvari) ou Ă  Platanias (15 min) et La canĂ©e (25 min).

We had an amazing 10-day stay at Villa Stellina!There was plenty of space for our family of six adults, with a gorgeous garden, pool and breathtaking views to enjoy. Everything was modern, spotless, and perfectly located away from the busy tourist areas. Afrata Beach, just a 10-minute drive away, offered an authentically Greek experience, and we also loved visiting Kolymbari.Stella was the perfect host—always available if needed and quick to resolve a minor issue immediately. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would love to return!

Beautiful villa

I highly recommend this villa, it is spacious and nicely furnished. The views are amazing over the hill with the sea in the background.The area is very quiet and private feeling. Even though the villa is in a rural area it is only a short drive (5 minutes) to the beach and the local village with a good supermarket and plenty of restaurants.

Great location and beautiful sunrise

We stayed at the property for a week in August. It met all our expectations. The house is clean and comfortable. All bedrooms have a great view of the olive groves and the garden is pretty. It is near Chania and is about an hour drive to famous beaches on the west and in the south. It has amazing sunrise view right from the terrace. We are very happy with the experience. The only thing that can be improved is the Internet coverage and speed. We find the Internet can be spotty and slow at night.

A hillside Gem

We stayed at Villa Stellina for 12 nights and it was lovely. about 20 min from Chania but very close to the little seaside town - it was a great spot for seeing western crete. The pool was an added bonus for our family. We did have a few issues with air conditioning but Stella was always quick to respond and honestly this place was perfect for us, so we didnt let it bother us.

A great place to stay

The property was exactly as advertised. A beautiful home, which was not overlooked. Lots of space within the home to spread out and relax. All mod cons. The pool was ideal in the summer heat. The location was great, just off the main highway but I would strongly recommend having a hire car. The host was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the villa and would love to return one day soon.

Fabulous villa

Lovely modern villa with spectacular mountain views. Everything was very clean and new. The pool and outside seating area are great and well connected to the kitchen and living areas. We took advantage of the option to have the pool heated which was perfect in October. We were a family of four and there was plenty of space. Comfortable beds as well. You do need a car to get around - there is easy access to the main road to Chania and beyond despite the villa being in a peaceful spot. Stella was super helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend this villa.

Lovely Villa

The property itself is exactly as advertised. It's spacious and very well equipped for all your self catering holiday needs. The outdoor space was bigger than we'd imagined and offered amazing views of the Sea and Mountains. There is plenty of different areas for sunbathing and relaxing outdoors in the evening. The swimming pool was a nice temperature and a good depth for being able to swim properly as well as splashing about! The location of the Villa is outside of the village so a car was needed, but this wasn't an issue for us as Stella kindly made arrangements for our hire car which we collected from the airport on arrival. I would strongly recommend a car as it's worth getting out and about in the local area, if you like a sandy beach Falasana was in easy driving distance with good access roads and lots of facilities. The local village of Kolymbari has lots of restaurants, cafes and Tavernas to choose from all of the ones we visited were very reasonably priced. There are two good local Supermarkets that are very well stocked. Stella was there to greet us for check in and check out, she was really good to deal with and although we didn't need her she would have been available to help at any time, which was very reassuring. If you're thinking about booking this property I wouldn't hesitate!

Lovely holiday house!

We had a wonderful time in Villa Stellina. The house was spotlessly clean, the pool was a good size and nice and warm. Fantastic views from the balcony. Stella was very good at responding to messages and could not not have been more helpful. Thank you!!

Wir waren 2 Familien und haben die tolle Lage sowie Einrichtung der Villa Stellina in vollen ZĂŒgen genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Im KĂŒhlschrank war ausreichend Wasser sowie ein kleiner Snack fĂŒr uns bereitgestellt. Das war sehr aufmerksam, da wir erst 21.30 Uhr eintrafen. Beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck am Pool genossen wir tĂ€glich die schöne Aussicht. Danke, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. 2 Familien aus Deutschland

Excellent stay in Kolymvari in superb villa

Can’t stress how impressed we (Family of 5 (Adults & teenager) were with the villa and location. The hire car was not up to scratch so we spent more time than planned in the villa. However this did not detract from our holiday because we fully utilised the villa (views, pool, barbecue etc). We walked the Samaria Gorge + visits to Chania (local bus + car (30/25 minutes) and Rethymnon were also made and within easy reach. Stella was very helpful and understanding when we arrived in the early hours of the morning (flight delay). In general I would certainly recommend this villa for a chilled, relaxed type of holiday. The immediate area around Kolymvari is not yet as developed as some other areas (Platanias) and for our family this was a big plus. Thanks - Andy

We had a wonderful week at this property. It is furnished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. A lovely private pool area with comfortable sun loungers and a well maintained garden. The most fabulous views of the mountains and the sea. In a quiet and peaceful location. You definitely need a car. There is a very good supermarket in Kolumbari, which is 5 minutes drive away. Also, by the seafront in Kolumbari there are lots of lovely restaurants. Stella was an excellent host. She replied very quickly to messages and was there to welcome us to the villa. She was very attentive to our needs. We would highly recommend this villa.
