Cadre idéal, excellent accueil, maison comfortable

Très bon séjour dans cette maison avec des hôtes sympathiques et disponibles. Extérieur et piscine très bien entretenus et féeriques L’intérieur de la maison joliment décorée manque toutefois un peu de maintenance : lave vaisselle en panne , peu d’équipement de cuisine, linge de lit non adapté , une des Clim fuit… Au delà de ces détails, je recommande cette location

Ample room and great spaces for family reunion!

We had 13 people (ages 18 to 78) from two continents stay here for a weeklong family reunion. The houses gave us plenty of space to spread out and be alone if needed while also accommodating large group meals and lots of fun in both pools, the grounds and inside. Great having two kitchens and being right next to each other. Nature abounds on the property and road leading up to it- birds, butterflies, flowers, iguanas, lizards, coati, agoutis, etc. Private, quiet space, easy access to Puerto Morelos -which was just the right size for us since we wanted to avoid crowds. Our outings included 7 Bocas Cenote (awesome!), a catamaran snorkel morning trip, Tulum ruins, dancing at La Sirena, and an amazing dinner at Punta Corcho (both at Puerto Morelos). Eric is a great, communicative host and the amazing Rafaela comes in daily to tidy up in the morning, do towels, etc. Enjoy your stay, you won't regret it!!!

Amazing experience

It was a perfect getaway from our family. Eric was extremely accommodating for the entire trip. He connected us with an amazing chef who provided a unforgettable mexican meal for 10 (the leftovers lasted 3 days!). We loved the two pools with some shade. We never return back to a prior location but this is probably the one.

A Magical Place

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay at the Bamboo Palace. It's such a beautiful location with a private pool at the back and a big pool at the front. We enjoyed having group dinners in the main dining room and sitting out in the lounge area playing cards. It's just a block from the beach and a 5 minute drive to the golf course (Playa Paraiso) where we enjoyed some excellent rounds. We'll be coming back for sure!

Best vacation spot on Caribbean

Bamboo Manor was a wonderful vacation spot for our family. The beach is beautiful- no crowds or vendors. Eric is the BEST host ever. He quickly answered all questions before we arrived and got whatever is needed, like a new coffee machine. He connected us with a fabulous personal chef and tour guide. Plus, Rafaela came daily to help with cleaning and is the sweetest person ever. The house tolerates the energy of children well and has beautiful artwork everywhere. The location is great, in between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and away from the crowds. Everyone really had the chance to relax and recharge. Thank you Eric!!

Oasis in Riviera Maya - highly recommend

Bamboo Manor was a little slice of heaven. It’s seriously a gem along the Mayan Riveria coastline. The location was super easy to get to - just a 30 min drive from the Cancun airport yet felt very removed from being part of the hotels/resort vibe. It’s just 12 minutes from the town of Puerto Morales which made grocery shopping and any other things we needed very convenient. The town playa side of puerto morales is also a lovely little town that is easily walkable and such a breath of fresh air compared to Cancun, playa del Carmen or Tulum. The house itself was beyond beautiful and it felt like we were living in a ‘home’ rather than a rental. The kitchen was super well equipt and there were lots of towels, blankets, linens and anything else we needed available. It felt like having our own oasis just steps from a nearly private beach. We were even given the option of having the house dog, Bambam, stay with us for the week which we gladly accepted. We had maid service nearly every day. The host, Eric, went above and beyond with answering our questions, helping to arrange transport both before and throughout the trip and providing resources for tours and more. He allowed us to arrive super early after overnight flights and welcomed us with a fresh coffee. We plan to come back to visit again in the future. So grateful to have found this spot and highly recommend to anyone looking to visit this part of Mexico.

Relaxing in Paradise

We enjoyed a delightful family stay at the Bamboo Manor. Eric, the owner, was responsive from the time of booking throughout our stay. He was accessible and quick to answer any questions or concerns. He was also a great resource offering local information when asked about someone coming in to prepare some meals. Eric also arranged our shuttle back to the Cancun airport. The kids enjoyed the large pool in front and the smaller, private pool in the back patio. Access to the beach is very convenient as is access to diving at the Iberostar Resort, a short walk up the beach. Rafaela, the maid, was a delight and kept the house immaculate. We treated ourselves to Tasty Nomads to come to the house and prepare a couple of delicious meals. All in all, a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

Wonderful Family Vacation

This was the perfect property for our stay in the Riviera Maya. The property and house were impeccable and beautiful, and we enjoyed the serenity and beauty of Villa Bamboo even when it was raining for the first two days of our stay. We had a group of eight, and there was plenty of room for both community and privacy. The catered meals by Tasty Nomads were delicious and the hospitality of Eric and staff were five star. One of my kids commented at the meal "This makes me feel like a princess at a feast" and I second that. I look forward to returning someday.

Villas in paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Eric’s property. He was communicative and answered my questions before we got there and when we arrived. With such a large group we felt the joined villas allowed space but also an opportunity to gather. The property is gorgeous and the private pool and communal pool were heavenly. The ocean is just a short walk away. We had two infants and there wasn’t any shade or a place to really set up a beach camp area. However, it was easy to walk to the beach, put our bags just above the water and hop in. We just walked back after hopping out and came back later. It was perfect for us! You could also buy an umbrella to take. There aren’t really waves and it was a great first ocean experience for our babe. There also wasn’t sargassum. The rooms were great. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was excellent. Just to note, one hood above the stove didn’t work and neither dishwasher worked. It wasn’t a huge deal but we did set off the smoke alarm cooking and used a fan to clear the kitchen. There is a maid, Rafaela. She is just the best. She’s so sweet. Our kids adored her. The house was always pristine!

The Jackson Family Vacation

Wow! We held our Jackson family gathering here for 10 days and it was truly a gem. The property was incredibly warm and welcoming but even more, the hosts were outstanding. Eric went out of the way to be sure we had an enjoyable stay and was responsive to all our requests. Even managed to find me a guitar to rent so I could do some song writing on site and saved us on our first day since we were not aware that you can not buy wine after 5pm on Sunday. ;) We rented both sides of the property which was more than enough space for 13 of us. 12 adults and one infant. We prepared most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen and spent many evenings gathered in the back area of the property enjoying music, grilling food and swimming. The location is tucked away between Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos. You will likely want to rent a car, we did not and still managed to get around. We utilized the shuttle buses that travel down the main highway each day (every 10-15 minutes). The walk to the main highway is a little jog but a pleasant walk. We also used taxis - but you will need to be clear about where the taxis need to go. The community is gated. The property is well cared for, as they cleaning crews were on site daily and were also helpful in sharing how to use the buses and where to go. Overall, this was a total win for our family and we will definitely return. Signed, The Jackson Family

We absolutely loved our vacation and stay with villa owner Eric. We were greeted by owner and his son from tasty nomads who catered our first nights meal. It was a stunning array of Mexican fare. Followed by a delicious seafood paella prepared for us on Christmas Day. The villa is gorgeous and it’s proximity to the beach was a real treat. There are endless adventures to be had in the area. So many we intend to return to see and enjoy more. We highly recommend.

Beaucoup de charme, in Playa Paraiso

The hosts were always available, accommodating and SO considerate! The villa is charming and decorated with Mayan/Mexican local flair. There’s a new zen waterfall/plunge pool making the rear patio a delightful place to unwind - with a capacious hammock for two! Fully stocked kitchen, lots of comfy seating, HVAC that works well, thick towels for bath and beach and a common area for the community with shared swimming pool (unheated). Swimmable and scenic ocean cove a couple of minutes’ stroll from the villa. And for divers, a great dive shop at the Iberostar ten minutes’ walk down the beach!

Peaceful, Beach Paradise

Our family of 7 had an amazing time at Bamboo Manor! Our arrival was wonderful. The owner, Eric, reached out before we got there and asked if there was anything we needed from Sam’s Club. It was so nice to have a few meals and water bottles when we arrived. The house was the perfect size for our family, and was very clean. Even better were the beautiful gardens surrounding the warm pool! It was in a great location for traveling to all the different sites in the area. You’ll definitely want your own car for exploring. We loved our stay, and would definitely stay again.

Old World Hospitality & Charm

Each year our family travels to Mexico for 1-2 months. This year, part of our trip was spent in Puerto Morelos at Bamboo Manor where we were welcomed with open arms and treated like family by Eric, Rosa & Stephan. Prior to arrival, Eric provided every courtesy to ensure that expectations would be met (or exceeded, in this case). They also arranged to cook & serve us a classic Mexican meal which was served to perfection by Stephan on our first night. The dinner was phenomenal, a highlight not to be missed. The landscape design surrounding the pool area provided privacy and gives a Spanish flair of old world Mexico. We even brought our 5 month old puppy who was similarly given red carpet treatment and welcomed by the family pets lol. No request was ever too small or too big. The villa itself is rustically charming and family friendly with an open concept. Although, we did wish the back patio was available to us, but when it is, I’m certain it will be as unique and charming as the rest of the property. It was very clear that Eric’s early background in the hospitality industry has taken on a new life and he and his family are evolving to a new level of service and accommodations. Very beautifully appointed home close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home that was decorated in such a way that you really have the flavor of being in Mexico. The home and the pool and pool area are all very clean and welcoming. Eric and Rosa are FABULOUS. So kind, and inviting. Went above and beyond. House is so close to a beautiful beach in a quiet setting. Pool just outside the door with a fantastic patio. Bedrooms were set up and a/c was nice. Can't thank Eric enough for their kindness. Thank you!

The property was just as described, perfect for our group.

Great location for our last night, easy trip into Puerto Morales. Great beach within a 2-minute walk.
