Lovely apartment in villa with WIFI, pool, TV, patio and panoramic view, close to San Gimignano

Conveniently located in Poggibonsi, Italy in the tourist area "San Gimignano And Surroundings" and only 16 km (10 mi) from San Gimignano. Tenuta Il Tresto is a nice vacation rental with WiFi internet and pool. The villa / farmhouse / home has been designed with a total of four separate apartments. The property can sleep up to 22 guests comfortably in nine bedrooms with five bathrooms.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property perfect for a peaceful vacation in Tuscany. After a busy day of visiting museums, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to unwind at the end the day. For your pleasure, on the grounds there is a barbecue grill and patio. Each apartment has its own private living area with a kitchen with plenty of utensils, tableware and cutlery, a bedroom and bathroom. Many people traveling with friends prefer a multi-unit property where they can spend time together in the common areas, such as the pool or garden, but still have their own private living quarters.

Tenuta Il Tresto is a nice property that has a total of four independent apartments that is conveniently located in Poggibonsi, Italy in the tourist area "San Gimignano And Surroundings" and only 16 km (10 mi) from San Gimignano. Tenuta Il Tresto, among other amenities, includes also pool and WiFi internet.

Giaggiolo (100sq m) is a three-bedroom unit with two bathrooms that is built on one level and can sleep up to seven people.

There is a kitchen including plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to seven guests.

Old apartment in an old country house

We spent a week in the apartment for 7. On arrival the apartment was very cold (16 C degrees) and we had to warm up and pay extra for the heating. The apartment is poorly furnished particularly the bathrooms and kitchen. Bedding was not very comfortable either. The location between Florence and Siena is very convenient for visiting the region but the village of Poggibonsi is not nice. The house is outside of the village and you have to drive through a very sandy county road. The staff is friendly and helpful though but I would not come back. It is cheaper than other locations in the area but you get for what you pay…

Niet schoon en veel te warm

App. Giaggiolo.Dat er in het huis oude meubels staan kun je verwachten, maar dat het niet schoon is vinden wij op zijn zachts gezegd niet prettig. De keuken was erg oud en ondermeer vanonder de rand van de wasbakken kwamen hordes mieren. Je kon niets laten staan. In de gootsteen zelf nog etensresten. De koelkast moesten wij eerst zelf schoonmaken. De badkamer stonk naar riool en er zaten zilvervisjes. Ook zat er een vlek in het beddengoed. Op verschillen plekken stofpluizen, zoals onder de bedden. Het was erg warm en als het 's avonds en 's nachts afkoelde dan bleeft de warmte helaas in het huis hangen. De ventilatoren waren niet voldoende om te voorkomen dat je enorm zweette. Dochter en schoonzoon zijn met baby van negen maanden naar een hotel vertrokken, want voor een kleintje was het helemaal niet uit te houden en hebben deze dagen niet in het huis geslapen. Hier zouden gewoon airco's moeten hangen. Er is genoeg ruimte en drie slaapkamers en de bedden zijn prima. En zijn meer dan genoeg handdoeken beschikbaar. Er zit bij de huizen een fantastisch zwembad met ligstoelen en parasols. Even over de rand kijken en hebt een fantastisch uitzicht op dit deel van Toscane.

my friend and i really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to Florence and other places we wished to visit while we were in Tuscany. Everyone from the owner to the staff were pleasant and helpful. The views were spectacular across the valley and loved the fact it was an authentic villa with good beds and furnishings. the Italian breakfasts presented by Annetta were wonderful.

We loved our stay In Poggibonsi at this lovely villa. Anetta’s Breakfasts were a wonderful way to start the day. This would have received a 5 star if Poggibonsi was a little nicer town. It was a perfect location to visit many of the Tuscan cities and had a beautiful views.

We loved this place, beautifully rustic with lemon & lime trees growing, vine yards, converted farm buildings all giving a lovely atmosphere. The pool was a highlight for us as a family, and with the hot weather, large and clean with wonderful views over the valley. The property is beautiful. The pool is wonderful. The apartment is lacking. It has loose toilet seats, and sub par bathrooms. Also, since it has a functional kitchen, it would have been nice to have had some dish soap, salt and pepper and perhaps a sponge to wash dishes and a trash bag or two. We had to purchase all staples for a one week stay. The weather was very hot. We did not expect air conditioning, but a fan would have been a welcomed addition. Some of the rooms were stifling. The owner is friendly and so is the staff.

Beautiful!

The setting of this property is incredible. It is on a hilltop overlooking beautiful hills. It seems like it is miles away from anything yet it is only 5-min from town with a large grocery and restaurants. Stayed with my family of 6. Property managers are very nice and accommodating. We arrived much later than expected and they were able to fix everyone a lovely meal even though the kitchen had closed hours earlier. Something to be aware of is the many stairs to the upstairs units. Our unit had some minor maintenance issues but the setting is everything that you think of Tuscany. It was a very comfortable and safe place to stay and we would definitely consider staying again.

The setting for this property is incredible. It feels like you are miles away from the world on a hilltop in Tuscany but it is actually about 5-min from town and a major grocery. A very convenient location. The owners are fantastic. We arrived much later than expected and they opened the kitchen and made a light dinner for my family of 6. We loved everything about our stay here. Thank you!

Owners helpful. Apartments need some TLC - various items broken - not sure if this is case in main rooms. Other fittings cheap. Pool fantastic- mandatory to wear swim hat which we didn’t take and not available locally. Location just off motorway but once in the Tresto not that noticeable

Excellent location, great view from the Villa to Poggibonsi. The unit was perfect for our family of 4 very closed to San Gimigniano and Siena. Gabriel was incredible helpful in recommending where to go and even he built an itenary of 3 days how to visit Tuscany. I would recommend this Tenuta Tresto 100% and will come again next time.

Beautiful views. Too early to use the pool but gorgeous view from pool.

Overall happy. If you like rural and rustic this is the place for you.
