Finca Ramona is an old Mallorcan house located in the Colonya Valley, a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and centuries-old olive fields, and other native Majorcan trees. The house is accessed from the cosmopolitan town of Pollensa and is reached along a very quiet, meandering country lane passing through orange, lemon and almond groves thus offering a very quiet environment, apart from the delightful sound of sheep bells. The narrow road skirts different farms, among several historical posesiones (Manor Homes).

The house has been carefully renovated during the winter of 2019-2020, with special emphasis on the conservation of old traditional elements such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams on the ceilings, while the interiors now have a more current and modern character. Some of the most important improvements which should be mentioned are the newly tiled floors, the renovated kitchen and bathrooms as well as the addition of a fifth bathroom. New lighting has also given a more modern ambience to all spaces.

As you enter into the center of the house there is a spacious dining room with traditional walls and lighting, a place from which you can access the fully equipped kitchen that still preserves the old fireplace (currently disabled) typical of old Majorcan houses.

On the ground floor we also have a spacious leisure room where you can play table football or sit on the large comfortable sofa with a chaise longue to enjoy movies on the impressive 65-inch screen. The smart TV is prepared with a wireless internet connection so that customers can enjoy their Amazon, Netflix and other platforms accounts.

From the dining room you can also pass through an interior stone arch where you will access the ground floor double bedroom which is adjacent to a full bathroom.

To the left of the main entrance you will also find a staircase that leads you to the upper floor where the other rooms are located: two twins that share a full bathroom, another double with its an en-suite bathroom and two more twin rooms, which share another bathroom.
It should be noted that the house has various configurations for beds, it is possible to convert some of twin rooms into doubles, (always on prior request) allowing the house to have 3 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms.

Outside we find spacious terraces with various ambiences in which to enjoy outdoor dining during the hot summer months or where we can also enjoy an appetizer or a few drinks sitting in one of the two chill out areas while contemplating the beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. On one side of the terrace you will also find a covered barbecue area with a fridge which is ideal for those who love grills.

The terrace has also been expanded in the pool area to have more space for sunbeds and to have an area to enjoy a good rest on the Balinese day bed. The pool, which has Roman steps, has also been completely renovated and retiled.

The exterior also has a newly restored bathroom (the fifth) so to be used without having to access the interior of the house as well as a laundry room with racks to store bikes.

Finally, it should be noted that the house has a free Internet connection via Wi-Fi (with several repeaters to have internet in all rooms) and pool towels. THE TOURIST TAX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.

Celebration
The setting of the villa was superb, especially the view of the mountain. The villa was a perfect setting for a family celebration. We were 11 in total, a mixture of adults, teens, and children. The pool was the biggest attraction, although it was not heated and the youngest child found it a little cold. However, he never missed a chance to be in there even if it was short-lived. The only downside may have been the barbeque which we found was not very efficient. Overall verdict was it was a fabulous place to celebrate together as a family and to enjoy the scenery and weather.

Great villa near to Pollenca. The location is fairly remote and you would need a car but offers tranquility with little disturbance from neighbours. Villa offers everything you need from plenty of outdoor seating options, a wood-fire barbecue, large pool, well equipped kitchen. Seems newly renovated and great for smaller groups, couples, families. Can recommend staying there if you don’t want to be in the center of a town.

Beautiful villa in a very picturesque location. Perfect for families and friends who are looking for a quiet villa, with great views. We didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Jaume Ramona’s house. The house is surrounded by nature and a farm. Everything is incredibly pretty, from the garden, to the spacious rooms and the kitchen. The view of the Tramuntana mountains is breathtaking. We had great runs in the morning and beautiful stays and dinners by the pool.

Excellent value for money. Small winding path to get there, a little off-center from Pollença, but the city remains easily accessible. We had to ask for basic things (dish soap, garbage bags, dish towels) but they responded quickly when I wrote to them. Have a nice stay!

I totally recommend this villa. Perfectly located like 5min drive away from Pollença village where you can find all the facilities needed (wine/liquor shops, local market, LIDL, gas station, etc). The house itself is perfectly well thought, with individual bathrooms (4 inside + 1 outside by the pool and super convenient). Rooms are spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and overviews the pool and the garden. Parking slot for 2/3 cars, local farm right by the house so you wake up with the sound of the animals. During our stay a house cleaning lady came to refresh rooms and bathrooms and to bring new towels. There’s an exterior fridge, very convenient, by the bbq (though the door is needed to be fixed). Also you can find a laundry room very convenient for a long stay. We were a party of 10 people and the house is clearly big enough and rooms well isolated. Amazing beaches are like 20min drive away from the villa - and not to worry about the cleanliness of the pool which is visited and cleaned several times during the stay by the staff. Well we only wish we could have stayed longer!

The accommodation and facilities were great and what we expected. The location was stunning. The bedrooms were large and air-conditioned and beautiful..It was a fabulous spot to relax and explore the northern part of the island. We did have some teething problems but minor in the scheme of things The internet was patchy but with some basic turning off and on it improved and they did send someone out. The electrics can trip if everyone is taking a shower and you are cooking and using everything at the same time but then I guess my house would do the same…and easily remedied with resetting the switch…it’s an old modernised to a high standard Villa…The Villa is in the beautiful countryside next to a farm where they have dogs kept outside and a donkey … especially if you are not used to such noises…so take some earplugs if the sounds of nature would keep you awake. All these are minor things as it’s a fab place to take a large extended family to have a relaxing holiday and I would definitely try to use it again…

The finca was very neat, clean and modern.Everything was there what we needed. Especially nice is the spacious outside area and the pool. Cooking together is super nice in the beautiful kitchen.
The communication with the host was easy and we always received a competent answer quickly.
Unfortunately the WLAN only worked in the kitchen and not in any of the other rooms.
All in all everything was very good!
We had a great vacation - gladly again. Thanks a lot!
