Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed everything the home offered. Beach side barbecuing shrimp, fish and hamburgers. S’mores over an open fire pit and star gazing, listening to gentle music.

The few things we needed were in stock and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc.More than enough outdoor furniture and a Weber was a welcome sight for grilling.Beds were very comfortable, showers and bathrooms were very clean. Nice sink in the kitchen and the ice maker worked great as well. Only had to do one small load of laundry but the washer / dryer looked brand new.

Our family spent four nights and would definitely book this house again. If there was a negative, it was that the lift wasn't working. That would have been nice to have to carry all our things upstairs. There were also a couple of the plastic adirondack chairs on the deck that were broken but there's plenty of other seating. It did not stop us one bit from sitting out on the deck every night! Cobb Realty, as always, answered all our questions and concerns. We always rent from Cobb!!!

Reviewer Comments: I found Amazing Grace while contemplating a last minute detour in our holiday travels from Houston to Lafayette and could not have been happier. The house was the perfect size for my husband and me, but it would work for a larger family/group too. The kitchen, living room, bedrooms & bathrooms were adequately sized and the convenience of a washer/dryer was a plus. The indoor dining area was really tight & should be reconfigured; the furniture is way too big. With that said, the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc, but was lacking various condiments or supplies that have been provided in other vacation rentals that we’ve stayed at, but we knew that going in & came prepared...salt, pepper, misc. spices, sugar, olive oil, ground coffee...just to name a few.Although I was surprised but not surprised, the house lacked any extra blankets/throws for the early mornings / late nights sitting on the deck, but I completely understand that other guests might take them to the beach or home with them, so we just dressed accordingly. But if you have the abilities to pack such things, do it.The overall experience from my initial inquiry (Stephanie) to executing the contract (Kylie) to checking in/out (sorry, I didn’t get any of the ladies’ names) and of course, our stay at Amazing Grace, completely overrides anything the house was “lacking”. My husband is a creature of habit, so getting him to switch from a hotel to a vacation rental has been a work in progress, but he was thrilled with our “detour” and wanted to know when we’d be going back...now, that’s what I call a success!

Wonderful, beachside location for families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Amazing Grace after Christmas and it was a great fit for our family of 5. Plenty of rooms for the kids, and a large over all family space with a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals, and we had a great time playing games during our stay. The firepit is located right at the edge of the yard, and the beach was easily accessed over the dune or from the lane next to the house.We did experience a lot of mosquitoes during our stay, but locals assured us that wasn't typical. We found some very tasty local restaurants for eating out, but otherwise really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. For it's location and size I would absolutely stay at the Amazing Grace again.

TV is internet streaming, so every 30 seconds we're looking at a circle for a signal- horrible if you are wanting to watch TV. No access to the lift!! Because of location, take the good with the bad, this section of the beach is packed! Cobb was wonderful as always. We've stayed in Crystal Beach several times (a different house each time). This was our least favorite so far, but also the cheapest. You pay for what u get.

The grill grate was pretty rusty and unusable so we bought a new grate to use on it. There was a chair that was previously broken in the living area, but it wasn't a game changer. We were very happy with the house and hope to come back in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing Grace is just that... amazing! Beautiful, clean, right off of the beach. You could hear the waves all day/night and despite the windy March weather the experience was peaceful and worked wonders to help me detox which was the main reason for booking a beach house. I will book again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home in an absolutely awesome location. Just a few steps and you are wading in the surf. This home has a fabulous layout with all the amenities you need and a super deck with "the ocean is right there" views. Lovely.
