Welcome to this serene Bed & Breakfast in Port Matilda. Guests will find a nice bedroom featuring 2 XL twin beds, perfect for a restful night. With one full bathroom available on the second floor, comfort and convenience are always within reach. The bathroom will be (shared) with the remaining 2 bedrooms on the second floor. Each bedroom will have their own secure lock along with all bathrooms. Bedroom has a smart TV and plenty of outlets. Fresh linens and towels for each stay. The space stays cozy year-round thanks to heating and air conditioning. Local park with track and playground. The pool is surrounded by plenty of chairs and two tables. There is also a pellet stove-gas grille. A pool table is available for everyone's enjoyment. Continental breakfast provided each day along with coffee-tea bar. Plenty of free parking on premises. Only 19 minutes to Beaver Stadium and 24 minutes to downtown State College. 4 season tickets for football are available for purchase separately by contacting (hbacker3158@gmail.com). Tickets can be bought for single games and are available for purchase when the school releases them to season ticket holders. Whether you're here to unwind or explore, this phenomenal spot offers a peaceful retreat. Kick back, relax, and enjoy everything Port Matilda and our Bed and Breakfast has to offer. Jayne and Hal's home is pristine and charming, and we were welcomed and treated like good friends. Our room was comfortable and pretty. Would gladly stay there again!

The home was clean, comfortable and pleasant. Everything was as expected, we were greeted with a smile, even when checking in after midnight. Jayne and Hal are great hosts and made delightful conversation during breakfast. They opened their entire home to us and made our stay amazing. Will definitely be back!

I was delighted to stay with Jayne and Hal. It was as if I were visiting dear family members. I enjoyed "hanging out" with them. I was made to feel comfortable and "at home". Their home is delightful, jammed with mementos of a fascinating life. It was ultra clean, ultra comfortable, and ultra friendly. The bed and bath rooms were super clean and comfortable with little touches like Q-tips which I had forgotten to bring. Jayne wanted to make me breakfast, but my unusual eating habits mitigated against that - I fast until midday. I am sure breakfast would have been wonderful. Their home was convenient to the amenities of Port Matilda, which suited me to a tee. My favorite was a large old fashioned store with fresh fruit and produce, a large variety of preserved goodies, and a deli counter.
