This house was spacious for our large family. We loved having all the extra beach supplies stored in the game room such as hand cart with huge tires, so much easier than our wagon with small wheels on the sand. It also hand beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. The pictures don't tell the true picture of the layout of the house. There is a large master upstairs with a large bathroom and walk-in shower. Definitely the nicest and most spacious room. There are three other bedrooms upstairs with 2 queen beds and a bunk room. Not hugely spacious rooms with one queen being pushed up against the wall with not much space to walk around and no closet. The bunk room is small too but has a small closet. All 3 of these bedrooms share a hallway bathroom with tub,/shower combo unless you want to travel to the 2nd floor to the other full bathroom with walk-in shower. Our family did have to share that one also when all coming in for the beach. It has a large laundry room outside of that bathroom but only one dryer works. It has one large capacity washer too. I guess they just haven't removed the broke dryer? I read a comment about not enough towels, correct, we bought more during our stay. It has one more bedroom with a queen with a hallway full bathroom with walk-in shower to use. Spacious bedroom but connects to game room and our adult children loved the game room to all hours of the night so I would suggest giving the room to one of them. Trash storage outside was an issue.

Great Stay at Mexico Beach

We had a wonderful week long stay. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and appliances. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room.

Kids loved the game room (so did the adults,lol). A very short walk to the beach and, surprise!-a playground, pickle ball courts, and basketball court was 100 yards away. Property manager was awesome as was the owner!

Great House

This house was wonderful. My family and my sisters family stayed here the week of July 4th. The house had so much sleeping room and the game room on the bottom floor was wonderful. The house was equipped with every kitchen item you would ever need. The property manager is so awesome and helpful.

One of our favorites

We hope to be owners in the future in Mexico Beach. It’s our most favorite place to enjoy the beach, relaxation, and small town vibes. This property was the perfect size for our large family allowing for a super short and easy walk to (when we went) the practically empty beach! Will book again, no doubt. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful location

Location was everything. Upon check in on Saturday, the garbage cans were full outside already. The owner did advise the cans should be kept under the stairs so whoever checked out must of left them out which made us wonder how clean, and ready the house really was. My kids took the room with the bunk beds. The blankets had stains with the beds made in that room and the room next to the game room also had stains. The pillows in the rooms also had stains. There was a random square panel that was part of the wall, not held together by anything. It was just placed there which caused it to fall off a couple times. We attempted to open the window in the dining room, and the top part of the window fell which we were not aware it was broken as there was nothing closing the window off. The owner responded immediately which was appreciated. We were advised management would send someone to fix the next morning. After about 40 minutes we were able to fix the window, and kept it closed the remainder of the stay. The lid to the garbage can was broken. The shower head next to the laundry room had a loose screw causing that to come undone/fall. Fireplace does not work. In the game room, the dart board fell on one of the guest leaving a mark. By the end of the trip, it was like walking on egg shells because we felt like everything was kind of falling apart. The quality of cleanliness made us very skeptical making it uncomfortable. There was garbage under the beds. It seemed like they just clean the surface of some things. The property itself has so much potential. It's a beautiful home it just needs some maintenence work, and a better cleaning company. The owner was helpful, attentive, and very nice. Location is most of the stars, honestly. Very nice beach about 3 minute walk. Parking was very convenient and spacious. We were also provided with some boards for the water etc. Thank you for opening this home to us!

Extended Winter Getaway

The property was perfect for our family’s break from the winter chill of the Midwest. The house had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, including the game room, which was great for the rainy days. It was also very well appointed with all the essentials and extras for cooking meals, plenty of towels/blankets and even all the necessities for working remotely (strong WiFi/extra table and chair). Check-in/out was easy and the property manager was great for anything that came up during our stay. Short walk to a beautiful beach that we had to ourselves most days. We’ll be back. Thanks!
