Wonderful home on Cape San Blas

This home was clean and had everything we needed. The fenced in backyard and covered porches were lovely and it was just a short walk to the beach and Salina Park. Especially appreciated the outdoor shower to get sand off our feet.

Great location!

Our stay here was great! The house was walking distance to the beach and there was just enough room for all 11 of us (6 adults & 5 kids)! We enjoyed spending time at Salinas Park, which was also within walking distance to the house.

A great place to stay

The property exceeded expectations. I had concerns before going that I might not like being further down the cape or not being directly on the beach but neither were the case. I found the location to be ideal. It was convenient to St Joe and Apalachicola. Restaurants, stores, etc were very accessible. There is a place across the street for live music, board games and beverages. The beach could be seen from the house and it was a very short walk to the beach. Nothing negative to say. The hosts were very responsive. I would definitely go back.

Spent a long weekend here with 4 children ages 10-18. House was exactly what we need and look for in a vacation rental - walkable to many activities, multiple sleeping options, comfortable common areas - all the things needed to keep a large family active and happy. Check-in and communication were a breeze. House itself was clean & comfortable with tasteful, contemporary decor. Top notch!

Perfect location & good communication

Perfect house for a family vacation with dogs. Private street with easy beach access, and secure enough with the fenced in backyard for dogs. Walk across the street to trails, pickleball and a local bar. Would stay again. Quick communication was appreciated late at night when thermostat didn’t work.

Family time

We had a wonderful time. I have been going to the beach for about 45 yrs. My children and grandchildren have traveled there every single summer for their entire lives. I love Cape San Blas. It can be a little tedious coming and going at times if you are down towards the end of the cape and don’t have everything you need. That’s one of the very best things about the location of this home. It is closer to “all the things”
 the bay, park and the lovely boardwalk right across the street! The beach is a short easy walk on the house side of the steet. PLUS you are closer to Port St Joe, Apalachicola and Indian Pass. It is peaceful and quiet with 2 large porches in the front of the house. The beach is gorgeous and not as crowded as a little further down the cape. We loved it! The home is beautiful and has all the modern conveniences. The host left us all sorts of lovely snacks. We had a marvelous time! SCG

Fun at Cape San Blas

Property was amazing. Easy walk to the beach. Easily sleeps up to 10 guest with great amenities ( wagon, chairs, beach toys for the kids). We will be back!!!

Girls Getaway!

My mom, sister, niece, aunt, and daughter all wanted to take a quick girls-only getaway before my niece’s October wedding. I am so glad we found this lovely home! We had a marvelous time and created many priceless memories playing in the nearby surf, riding horses on the beach, cooking delicious seafood, and filling our hearts with laughter! We cherished our time at Tortuga Haven, thanks for having us!!
