Beautiful location and hard to find cozy cabin feel within Portland city limits. Would have given 5 stars if the fridge had not been unable to stay cold.
Great location in the heart of Forest Park. Nice gathering space for the family and a beautiful deck. Since we will be coming back, I am providing feedback here I would not normally to help the homeowner out. Itâs time for a new couch, not only is it stained, itâs also uncomfortably soft. And the bathroom door wouldnât close. Actually the bedroom doors also need some attention to close properly and quietly. Inexplicably we ran out of facial tissue, and dishwasher detergent. There was only one hand towel and we couldnât locate oven mitts. The last major flaw is the inability to open all the windows. We travelled 2,000 miles to be in a lovely tree house but could only open two windows because the rest were missing screens. Quite disappointing. Again, the location and layout make up for these detractors. I donât know in what other city you can walk a hundred feet out of your rental and onto two legitimate forest trails. Hopefully the owner will address these issues and let this gem shine.
Beautiful location. The kitchen was small but fully stocked.Neighbor Steve was great. It would have been helpful to have a broom and dust pan fort guests to use. The couch got moved and there was some broken glass that got missed. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
The view out of the windows is breathtaking! It feels as if you are in the rain forest. The cabin was well stocked. We had everything we needed. They provided clothes detergent and kitchen was well stocked. We had a few hiccups but nothing that wasnât addressed immediately. We will definitely be booking another trip.
