It was a great stay, the place very nice and the room was excellent. The only issue is the noice, loud people and cars passing by as well as the train that passing every so often. I would stay in the place again.

The AC was noisy and woke us up as it didnt keep consistany noise and would sometimes jolt and rattle. The door also rattled and woke us up anytime our neighbors were coming and going. Light came through a lot too so thats why it would jiggle so much, the gap.

Rooms were outdated, noise coming from the streets at night; the smell in the room was off too. The room was all furnished but there's a lot of wear and tear, especially the bedroom; our bed was not comfortable at all. And mind you, I brought my own pillow. Other than that, the old lady with the iconic Karen cut at the reception had terrible customer service, we suspected latent racism. We asked for late checkout (at 12), and she was condescending and just overall bad attitude. The manager resolve the issue quickly. I would not recommend, especially for the price. I will not be staying there again that's for sure.

Loved staying on the beach and this place was perfect. Very historic hotel with lovely main building - the rooms in 'motel' need work - especially the bathrooms. Would stay again but want to stay in the historic hotel next time!

Great proximity to the beach, you're looking at it! Our room was on the 3rd floor...no elevators, so 31 stairs! I prefer a little more room. It was small and our room was slanted so that was weird! It was good since we were there just 2 nights. Anything more would have been too cramped as there was no storage area. We did use the lobby and outside porch area. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We parked and walked everywhere. Not too bad a walk to The Brunswick. And just a little bit further is the pier. Nice walk, lots to take in! The beach access was the key. Our room faced the ocean and the sunrise was beautiful!!!
