Such a great vibe at this place, and a fantastic location! Staff was all very friendly and chill, valet service was worth every penny. The room was cozy and small, with lovely old-school touches that really made one think of the old days of people living in hotels in the cities at the turb of the century. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for anyone who wants to explore this part of Portland without having to worry about their car, as everything is so walkable from the hotel!

This place was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I travel a lot for work and this was ridiculous. The person at the front desk was incredibly rude and nasty. Made me feel completely unwelcome. I mean, seriously? You have no idea who's working your front desk? Also the neighborhood was like a zombie movie. The rooms were average at best. I've stayed at Hoxton in London and had better experiences, but this one will forever taint my opinion and I will never book again. The biggest issue was a front desk person who has no business having any job, much less a service job. Good luck!

The hotel itself and the staff were all wonderful. The area around the hotel in the Pearl district is meh but that’s not the hotels fault. Honestly I spent a week and a half in the PNW and this hotel was my favorite place I stayed on the trip and look forward to visiting again and staying here. 10/10 A+++ experience

The lobby and restaurants on site are very nice. All the staff were very kind and helpful. However, if you are a woman traveling alone I would NOT recommend this hotel. It is in an area where there are extreme amounts of homeless people on every corner. And unfortunately not respectful homeless people. Ones of drugs that harass you and make you uncomfortable. The rooms are tiny, even for one person, and they are very loud/street facing with people screaming outside and cars and ambulances/police cars constantly driving by.

Nice design, clean & tidy

Well appointed room, had the compact but perfect for one person. Clean and tidy with nice design details. Only reservation was the area but I know Portland can be a little rough around the edges.
