I Love Alegria is a beautiful and cozy apartment, very well located in the center of Porto, combining classic architecture with modern comfort and quality.
Located in a quiet area, 5 minutes from the metro and a few meters from the emblematic Rua Santa Catarina, it is the perfect place to visit the city on foot, by metro or by bus.
Classic and traditional façade building of the port, recently rehabilitated, presenting bright and welcoming divisions. Room with two comfortable single beds, a kitchenette complete with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and everything you need for cooking, a sitting area with flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area with table for four people and a balcony. It also includes air conditioning and a spa bathroom.
Located in a quiet area, 200 meters from the emblematic santa catarina street, 300 meters from the BolhĂŁo Market and 400 meters from the Coliseu do Porto. It is the perfect place to visit the city on foot, by metro or by bus.

Nous avons été trÚs bien accueillis , l' appartement est trÚs bien situé et équipé. , nombreuses visites sont possibles à pied. , station métro toute proche également. Tout prÚs de la rue commerçante Santa catarina. Une adresse que nous recommandons vivement.! Ce séjour à Porto fut trÚs agréable. !

Amazing and safest location

The property is absolutely spotless. The apartment located in center of Porto, 5 min from metro station, shopping. If you like to cook, that grocery store is inside of shopping center. We have no problem with communication. Any our questions very respond immediately. We would recommend to create or leave manuals for stove and washer as European appliances are different there any appliances made in the USA. Thanks for your help for everything to had our vacation remarkable. A&A

Great for a stay of a few days

This property is very clean and is as represented. On site manager is very nice and responded immediately to any need. It is in a great neighborhood and walkable to everything. Although the street is noisy the apartment is in the back of the building and quiet, but with a less than stellar view. For three or four days this small apartment would be perfect. I, however, planned to be in Porto for over a week and a few small problem emerged. The weather was warm and the apartment got uncomfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work very well and the bed did not have a light cover or top sheet, only a comforter. When I opened the back door mosquitoes came in. So nights were spent with very little sleep. I eventually went to a hotel.

Perfektes Appartement fĂŒr einen Kurztrip nach Porto

Nach einem herzlichen Willkommen durch die Gastgeberin (und das trotz unserer spĂ€ten Anreise) haben wir uns in dem hĂŒbschen Appartement schnell sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die zentrale, aber ruhige Lage ist perfekt zum Erkunden der Stadt, alles (Innenstadt, Metro/Bus, Markthalle, BĂ€cker, Supermarkt, Restaurants...) ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir wĂŒrden wieder buchen und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen! Herzlichen Dank!

The apartment is in a great location easy walk to lots of restaurants and shops plus the temporary Bolhao market. Also steps to the metro. We found it really quiet, and stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Especially liked the balcony to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Ideaal gelegen appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien

Wij verbleven enkele nachten in dit compacte appartement aan de rand van het centrum. Binnen twee minuten ben je bij metrostation Bolhao. Het appartement was voor ons ideaal: het was voorzien van alle gemakken: gratis wifi, een goede douche en klein keukentje. Wij hebben vrij hoge standaarden qua hygiene en geluidsoverlast maar dit appartement overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het was er brandschoon en met de rolluiken dicht waren de bouwwerkzaamheden buiten niet meer te horen. Het twee persoonsbed was ruim genoeg en van een soort nasa schuim, dat sliep prima. Er is een klein balkon aanwezig met twee klapstoelen waar je heerlijk kunt nagenieten van een dagje Porto, onder het genot van een glas wijn (of Port voor de liefhebber). Kortom, een aanrader!

Clean, modern, quiet, and well-equipped condo in a great location

First impression: The condo is located on a busy, noisy street, but the outside of the building does not reflect what is found inside. Inside, it is quiet, clean, and attractive. Condo: This condo is modern and contemporary, with comfortable, though firm, twin beds and nice bedding. There's a small but adequate sitting area with TV, a dining area with a small table, and a compact, well-designed, modern kitchen. The bathroom is small, but adequate, and the shower and sink have nice fixtures and very good water pressure. The downside of the bathroom is that there are no towel racks or hooks for used towels, and no ventilation fan. The washing machine was a plus, and it was no trouble drying our clothes on a clothes line located on the balcony. Air conditioning worked beautifully! Wifi also worked well. Location: Great location, directly across from a mall, and very close to other shopping and restaurants. Rua de Santa Caterina, a popular, pedestrian shopping area, is about a 5 minute walk. The Bolhao Mercado temporary location (opened May 2 while the historical building is undergoing renovation) is less than a minute's walk. A walk to the touristy river area is an easy 15 - 20 minute walk. Also, there are several good restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute walk. Management: Vanessa allowed us to check in early, which was very helpful and appreciated. We were met at the condo by a representative, who showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and location. Vanessa emailed us during or stay to make sure all was going well, and to offer any help we may need. Overall, the condo is small, but it offers more space and convenience for 2 people than a similarly priced hotel room.

Wonderful Apartment

This apartment is excellent, it was presented to us at a very high standard, clean, bright and fresh. The owner, Vanessa was very helpful and a delight to chat with, she had even left us a bottle of Port, some nibbles and milk in the fridge. The apartment is professionally decorated throughout, with quality furnishings, the outside landings and entrance to the apartment is also decorated to a very high standard, just adding to the quality feel of the whole experience. There is also a veranda, where one can enjoy a drink in the sunshine. The location doesn't disappoint either, being 5 minutes walk from the metro, and 2 minutes from a grocery store and restaurants. The apartment is located centrally in Porto, everything one would wish to see, is within easy reach by foot or Metro. The 2 mainline railway stations are easy to reach via metro, Sao Bento and Campanha, if you wish to explore locally or further afield.

Great find!

This is a modern apartment in a renovated building in the central area of Porto. The apartment is very well-done and comfortable. Vanessa met us at the building, took us into the apartment and showed us how everything worked. The apartment is very well-stocked with pretty much everything you could need during your stay. She even provided us a bottle of nice Port wine! There is a shopping mall across the street with a mini supermarket on the bottom level where you can get most of what you might need during your stay. There is also a self-service laundry on the second level. The apartment does have a washing machine with a drying rack on the terrace but, if you prefer quicker drying, you can take your wash across the street, and the cost to wash/dry is minimal. The area is safe and you are only 3 minutes from Bolhau market, Santa Catarina St. is one block away, Clerigos Tower is a 10 minute walk, etc. i.e., this is in a great location. Vanessa allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment until 17:00 as there was no one coming in the day we left, so we had the afternoon to do more sightseeing without having to worry about our bags. Vanessa is a great host. I hope people take the effort to keep her apartment as nice as they find it when they arrive.

El departamento estĂĄ muy bien ubicado a metros de la calle Santa Catarina, estĂĄ muy bien equipado con mucha calidad y gusto. Los detalles son realmente exquisitos como dejarnos un vino de Portugal a nuestra llegada y algo para desayunar lo mismo que bebidas en la heladera. Adicionamente La propietaria un encanto , nos recibiĂł ella y nos habĂ­a armado una guĂ­a de Porto con fotos y todos detalles para visitar. Muy buena cama y excelente ropa blanca. NOs encanto y lo superecomiendo para dos personas volverĂ­amos sin dudarlo. Da gusto llegar de un largo viaje y encontrarse con ese bello departamento.
