My only complaint was that there were only coffee pods for two cups, and there was nowhere nearby that sold the correct type. There should at least be two pods for each morning of the stay. More would be nice. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place. Mark

Aside from the view and the ac everything else was terrible about this property. The WiFi didn’t work at all, coffee machine had a Swiss plug, water temperature in shower went from scalding hot to icy cold, there were ants everywhere, and the stove didn’t work so we couldn’t even cook.

There was cockroaches in the property next to the bed !! You described the property as two bedrooms but it wasn’t !!! One bedroom without a window overlooking the kitchen while the smaller room is a sofa !!! Very uncomfortable also we had a break in before we packed at 10am while our reservations stayed 11am as check out time . That was scary seeing people inside without our permission

Great stay and fantastic location! Brutal steps!

Can't imagine a better location within Portofino. Directly at the harbor and once down the stairs, right in the middle of things. The apartment is not high end however, not in poor condition, either. Frankly, it was exactly as described and we had a great, albeit too short of stay. The only thing I want to add is that getting to the third floor apartment, up extraordinarily steep and very narrow stairs can be a daunting task. I'm 63 and in decent shape, my wife, daughter and I had been traveling in Italy for a month. With luggage close to 70lbs. each, I can assure you that it is quite a task to get everything up to the unit. After struggling to carry the first bag up myself, I hired a 20 year old nearby, young man to carry the 2nd and 3rd bags and he had to stop 3 times to catch his breath. Coming down is no bargain, either. I'll tell you that gravity and this stairwell will win virtually every battle vs humans trying to get heavy luggage to and from the 3rd floor! Now, this would not stop me from staying at this apartment again, like I said, it's in a great location. Just be sure to find and pay a strong, young guy to do the heavy lifting if you should have heavy luggage. I promise, these steps will not be a picnic for this young guy, either.
