Charming Artisan House 1925

Located in the heart of a historic neighborhood, this 1925 Craftsman style home is just minutes from the numerous places of interest in downtown Prescott. It is within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, museums, antique shops, parks, Prescott College, and Yavapai College. Walk to the Courthouse Square and enjoy festivals, concerts, and craft fairs.

Though quaint and historic, the house has been thoughtfully modernized. There are two bedrooms and two baths. In addition, a convertible sofa makes sleeping six possible. There is a locking one-car garage attached to the house. The spacious back yard has seating areas and patios. There is a private front patio with a BBQ area ready for outdoor cooking. An outstanding feature of the house is its spacious and charming front porch overlooking the front gardens - perfect for relaxing, reading, and watching the world go by.

Amenities include parking, Cable TV, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, AC, heating, laundry facilities, and more. A book with information about the house and the area is available in the front entryway. The host can be contacted by phone and lives only a few blocks away in case of an emergency.

3 adult couples reuniting for a fun weekend. The house was very nice and clean. The sofa bed in the living room supplied the 3rd bed. The owner was quick to communicate and bring extra supplies. Highly recommend!

Christmas Parade and Lighting

this was a chance for us to come to Prescott yes, for the Christmas parade and lighting of the town Square. It was our planned Christmas trip with our daughter and her husband and her granddaughter. What a wonderful time! The house was so wonderful and convenient to downtown.

Lovely home close to downtown

Lots of charm and extra touches. Nicely equipped kitchen for cooking at home. We were not able to adjust the heat; it seems the thermostat is controlled remotely. Parking on the property is only suitable for a small vehicle. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful property

This is my second summer staying in this beautiful house. I love how close it is to town so that I can walk everywhere. And when I am not out walking around, I live on the front porch - morning coffee, happy hour wine, and reading the afternoon away. John and Rhonda are excellent hosts. Great weekend getaway!

THe house was well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals without having to go out for every meal. The owner provided us with all the information we needed before checking in, and even reached out the day we were leaving to offer us to stay a few hours past checkout time due to the snow, and also offered to come shovel snow. Turned out he didn't need to, because the long term tenant in the other unit on the property came out and shoveled the snow for us. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Prescott.

We enjoyed the house and our stay. I would mention a concern about the electrical on this older home since the lighting in the kitchen would sometimes take over an hour before the light would actually come on. Also the kitchen is in need of a cabinet update and it would have been nice to know that there was no dishwasher.
