Check-in person was surprisingly rude. Both to us and the people after us. Hotel might be historic but interior is like a cheap economy hotel. Rug stains, water stains on ceiling, damaged furniture, cheap soap. The “resort fee” is insulting in a hotel like this. The exterior seems to be where homeless people gather. Maybe 20 at any given time. Sign warns you that it will take 30 minutes to get your valet parked car. No other options. .

We love this hotel, and it is our go-to hotel in Providence. The location is perfect, and every time we stay there, we are impressed by the professional and friendly staff. Raquel at the front desk was wonderful!

The hotel is very old looking. The curtain in the bathroom was filthy and the beds were terrible. Staff was nice and it was a great touch being able to get waters or sodas at any time from the front desk. Quick walk to Providence Performing Arts Center. The morning continental breakfast was pretty bad - hot sandwiches and tater tots were in individual paper bags with grease completely soaked through and the pastries were cold and hard. For the price, it was definitely not worth it and won't be returning.

Great location in PVD-walkable to lots of great places. Room/bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was really good. Hotel is an old-gal, though. Great shower. Know that there are a lot of homeless people congregating and living on the street right near the entrance of the hotel as the church across the street provides a soup kitchen and services to the homeless population.

Location is great. Beautiful historic building. Poorly managed. The bulk dispensers in the shower were white ceramic. You could not see the levels of soap, and we found out the next morning there was no soap. We had to get soap from the sink dispenser on a wash cloth to shower. Both the sink and shower drains were very slow/clogged. There was a sign in the elevator for happy hour, but when we went to the bar for happy hour were told that signage was old - from during Covid when they had a happy hour. Had discontinued happy hour and not taken down the sign.

Nice place but across the street I believe was a homeless shelter. Every time we left the hotel, we were asked for food or cigarettes. Nice place, but because of that I wouldn’t stay again.

Great location, comforatble hotel.

Great location, quiet, comfortable hotel. Lots of good restaurants in close proximity, lively evening scene. Comfortable room and bed with large modern shower. Good varied breakfast. Only complaint was an unannounced facility charge not included in my hotels.com pricing.

Decent stay

Nice and helpful staff. Hotel was around a lot of restaurants and businesses. I like the style of the hotel itself but the walls and curtains need a good cleaning/fixing. There a some unhoused people down the street, but they did not bother me or my family.
