This is a spectacular location made even more so by the kind helpful site manager Joel. Ask him about the flora or fauna or ask him to schedule a wonderful outing. We went to Corcovado by boat and highly recommend it. Stay right where you are or go for long walks. Both ways you will see so much wildlife. The houses are comfortable and well outfitted. We were surprised to see high-end cookware in the jungle. Housekeeping is excellent. Beds are comfortable. We alternated in which house we would congregate. The house next to the ocean has a lovely breeze. The house with the biggest kitchen (great for a chef - we heartily recommend Edixon!) is literally in a cage and you can sit inside and watch the capuchins go through the area. Walk up to the nearby waterfall to see the howlers and spider monkeys. You will see toucans, scarlet macaws daily. If you stay in one place long enough you will see many other creatures roaming or flying by. We were there in December-January and didnât see mosquitos
