Sonoran Sea W-1004 SeaView Hangout Oceanfront

Excellent condo to enjoy time in Rocky Point, Mexico. The upper floor brings you outstanding views of the ocean and beach. The condo is well furnished, and the patio is an excellent place to entertain.
King bed in the master, useful 'bunk bed' of Queen over King in the second bedroom, and the living room has a Queen sleeper sofa.

Come explore Rocky Point at the Sonoran Sea Resort. Just 3.5 hours from Phoenix and Tucson, Rocky Point is a great vacation getaway. Full of the fun of the beach, the town is great for off-road vehicle excursions. Beach walks and nightlife, more and more families find the town to be perfect for exploring.

It was a night mare booking this place from the beginning. Security is more worried of you sitting on their front lawn then checking up on the people in the pool and Jacuzzi so that someone doesn’t electrocute themselves again. WAAAY too many restrictions. NO SMOKING, NO BBQing ALLOWED, NO BEACH CHAIRS ALLOWED in the lawn LOL they don’t give you a break at this place. I’m never staying here AGAIN! Dont waist your money on this place PEOPLE there’s better hotels for the price.

Staff was great

1st day main TV did not work could not be changed until the next day. All around the staff front desk, small store, restaurant, house keeping were very kind. I didn’t understand why the 10th floor was considered “penthouse “ it was an average size condo. Our second to last day fish heads covered the beach so by the afternoon there was a stench and the beach was unusable not the properties fault but there should have been some effort to clean the shore.

Great stay!

Unit has everything you'll need minus kitchen towels. Keys to doors need a little TLC. Tough getting in so be careful not to break the key off. Minor issues given how delightful the unit is.

good for the price.

The property is ok, the price is right for what you get. The Condo needs some cleaning and repairs, the front door is crazy hard to open and close and it looks like its falling apart, the room is pretty dusty. Make sure you bring your own hand soap, and paper products. If your looking for a basic room, no frills at a good price this room will do just fine.

Wonderful stay. Only downfall was being on the highest level of the resort. With small children it was scary to hang out on the balcony. Still very beautiful views & condo. Definitely would stay here again :)

Beautiful but disappointed

The views from the 10 th floor are beautiful. Sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous. The kitchen has nice equipment BUT why no paper towels? Also no cleaner like windex to clean up counters. And putting a smoke detector in the kitchen??? Bad idea! The most disappointing thing about this place is the TVs. The one in the living room only receives five channels and the picture is barely watchable. The one in the bedroom gets 11 channels and the picture is so lousy it looks like it is snowing! January is not the month for vacation here. It is cold and breezy. Not beach weather. This apartment could be made luxurious like advertised if a few things get corrected.
