Sonoran Sky 303 Vacation Paradise Relaxing Ocean Front Condo

This is one of the most beautiful and elegant resorts in all of Sandy Beach, it is definitely the youngest of the Sonoran Resorts. You will be very happy with all the amenities that are offered in this resort-like a full-service spa, pool sidebar, two pools ocean side, a small pool with water slide for the kids, a Jacuzzi for adults, a BBQ area and play area for your family party. All that you would want to have in a high-class resort.

This beautiful elegant unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and is found on the third floor on the Sonoran Sky Resort and it can easily accommodate 6 people total. The larger sofa opens to turn into a queen-size bed to sleep 2 people comfortably. The sofa set is beautiful dark brown leather with elegant copper cushions. To complement the set there is a square glass top coffee table. For the ambiance, you will see a tropical silk tall plant. The area rug finishes the look with the light camel and tan tones in its geometric pattern. You will find also a dark wood entertainment center, which is fully equipped with DVD, Stereo and cable, which you can use with the large flat-screen TV. In the dining room, you will see a set of rectangular dark wood table and 4 chairs; which goes well with the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you will need to make a great meal and stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom has beautiful wood and iron king size bedroom set. The set includes a dresser and 2 double drawer tables. There are many throw pillows. Having trouble relaxing? No problem, draw a bath and sit back in the deep Jacuzzi tub. The bathroom has rain shower and double vanity sink. On the second bedroom, you will sleep on the brass bed, queen size. There are also two night tables and a large armoire. You will also have an armchair to sit and read. In both bedrooms, you will find a TV and DVD set in their respective armoires, across from the bed.

No matter what you see inside of the unit, you cannot compare to the greatness you will see outside. Take a load off on the patio dining set and watch the dim beautiful sunrise or the incomparable colors of the amazing Sea Of Cortez sunsets. Place was as described. The restaurants are always great and the staff is very nice. The only bad thing was having wifi issues, but it was the whole resort not just our unit.

Spring Vacation

I was a little nervous at first to be going to Mexico with my wife and kids. From the trip down from Arizona to the stay, every thing went perfect. The property was great. My kids loved the pools and my wife and I loved lounging poolside. This place had everything we could have asked for a nice relaxing vacation.

This condo was in a perfect location for a reasonable price. It could use some new furniture inside & out. The outdoor furniture was very worn out with holes in the cushions. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of kitchen accessories. If you are planning on staying here, I would definitely bring your own hangers. Only child size and wire hangers were supplied. Not much closet space in the master bedroom. We were disappointed in the fact that they allowed children in the swim up bar.

Beautiful Condo - needs a little work

The condo itself is beautiful. Perfect location, and it was very clean. Found a little odd that they were no beach towels to use, nothing a quick trip to the gift shop didn’t fix. The glass coffee table was not secured by anything and the top was free to spin and balance. Had the kids moved it 1 inch, it would have shattered everywhere (I’m assuming not by design). The hall way on the way to the family room has a big hole and the restroom in the master bath was not working. All the above issues (except the hole in the wall) were handled by the friendly maintenance people we were able to flag down in the hallway.

Very nice unit. 3rd floor so easily accessible. Please be sure to bring your own toiletries and specifics (spices, kitchen items, condiments) as unit did not provide.

Nice getaway

It was absolutely gorgeous! The room was beautiful and had all we needed! The only thing was the bed in the master bedroom was really hard and there was a day we were without water which was rough because we had an excursion but we understand things happen. The store in the resort is awesome too. I honestly would stay again but def will ask about a better mattress if they are different in each room. You will not be disappointed staying here. Its highly recommended!

New Years 2021

This was a nice unit. We have stayed in Rocky point for new years for the last 17 or 18 years. Most years have been at the Sonoran Sky. The kitchen could have used wine glasses and another cookie sheet or smaller baking casserole type dish, but over all it was good. Check out seemed to go fine but then we got called back saying something had been broken. Nothing had been broken to our knowledge but there was a very wobbly dining room chair. After waiting for a while and security going to the unit, they said all was fine, so not sure what the issue was. I was not allowed to go see what the supposed issue was. Caesar the office manager was very nice to work with, allowed a little later check out since no one was following us in that evening and is very professional.
