At first look, the property is lovely. The pool area and the beach amenities are great and well-kept. The units are modern and spacious, and were overall comfortable. Here is where we had a few issues:1. They advertise pull-out sofas as additional beds. This is fine, however, there are no additional blankets besides what is on the actual beds. My mom wanted to sleep on one of the couches and had to spend 55 on a blanket from the resort (yes, it would have been cheaper in town, but this property is about 30 minutes from the Malecon and it's a bumpy dirt road in/out). 2. One of the beds was broken. We let the desk know upon our arrival, and they sent someone to fix it. It seemed fine, but later that night, it broke again. 3. The front desk staff were exceptionally rude to me and our group at check-out. They have since charged my card for 70 without any explanation (I assume it's for the bed that was already broken when we arrived, but they have said nothing to explain this charge). While the property and the unit were nice overall, we won't be staying here again. There are equally lovely properties in more built-up areas (easier access to less expensive restaurants and blankets, lol) with more pleasant staff and overall less hassle. We won't be back.
