All around a really bad experience. We booked two rooms, one of which had high humidity and smelled of mold, the other of which had a slight sewage smell at times when the conditioner ran. Aside from that, they did not have clean sheets and blankets. Either they were stained or were older, and we had to ask the staff many times to change them. The beach is beautiful. It was my third time in this resort but I am not going back again. Sanitation was non-existent all the way around. From the glassware and tableware to the food, which had flies hovering around it. Staff also expects tips heavily and is ruder than previously, although some were okay. We’ve been to the Dominican Republican before many times and it was never like this.

The entire stay was incredible. Our butler Guzman was absolutely attentive and great at his job! The bartender Roberto in the lobby bar makes the best drinks! At the Club access pool by the beach, Joel and Santa make sure you are taken care of 24/7. The room service was excellent and always had fresh towels. The food at the steak house - churrasco and salmon was delicious. The hibachi was delicious. And we loved the lunch lamb and pasta at il bottacio. They have everything you could possibly ask for for their breakfast buffet and you can have it while looking at the beautiful ocean! Stunning views from see and sea buffet

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana had the highest level of service of the three resorts I have stayed at in the area. Very helpful and friendly staff, immaculate facilities, all around fantastic. One suggested improvement is to heat the adult pool.

I'll start with saying that the lobby is impressive, the property is very large and beautiful looking especially during Christmas time, the beach is gorgeous with clear water and white sand. There are plenty of tanning beds on the beach so there is no issue getting one. Same goes for the pool. That's it about what I liked. The food was average, the buffet looked like it had a good selection but in practice it was the same thing cooked or cut different ways. Some restaurants had good options but service everywhere was very slow and not attentive. They will come to you once you are seated and then will never check back on you unless you get their attention. However, everyone was very friednly and tried to accommodate the requests. The property is outdated, there are broken or missing tiles in the rooms, on the hallways, and in the pool, switches in the rooms don't work, same goes for the bathroom fan. I might come back if the price is right but for now I would prefer to explore other hotels.
