Let me start by saying I am not typically a resort lover, especially all inclusive. I usually prefer to get out and see the towns and cities nearby and eat local food. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Most of the staff was amazing. The food was just so so, in my opinion. I wanted to get out and see more but all that was available was very touristy tours mostly non-Dominican food. I recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or for a family that wants to stay on campus. I knew it wouldn’t be the most cultural experience, but I hoped to find some. There was almost zero.

An Absolute Paradise! From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. The staff truly went above and beyond—especially Alvero, our butler. He met us at check-in, personally walked us around the grounds to show us all the resort’s amenities, and even arranged dinner reservations for our group of eight. Throughout our stay, Alvero regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect and to see if we needed anything at all. Our room was spotless, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Even though the resort is large, it had a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The surroundings were absolutely stunning. A special shoutout as well to Ismael at the adults-only swim-up bar. He was fantastic—friendly, entertaining, and always quick to serve your favorite drink with a smile! If I had one critique, it would be the quality of the food, which could definitely use some improvement. However, thanks to Alvero and Ismael, our trip was truly outstanding and unforgettable.

Beautiful beach, ok restaurants, long waits if no reservations, only a morning buffet no restaurants open for breakfast. Buffet wasn’t great, Clean resort, small casino, entertainment at night needs improvement, rooms nice beds very comfortable but slow to get assistance ie:extra blankets.

The RESORT was great, overall. Very well maintained, and exceptionally clean grounds. The Jr. Suite was big and everything was clean and refreshed by housekeeping each day. We enjoyed the Pool Bar each day and was entertained by Ismael, our bartender. Great drinks, fabulous atmosphere. Our Butler, Alfaro, attended to our needs and was quick to make things happen. The only disappointment was the food. It was mainly pretty bland, with the exception being 9 Doors Restaurant which was very good.

I stayed mid-January. I chose this resort based on a friend’s recommendation and was initially skeptical because many DR reviews seem incentivized. Overall, it could’ve been a 5/5, but the way the trip ended changed that for me. Arrival was a bit confusing — airport pickup (I purchased from hotel website) instructions weren’t clear, and the driver wasn’t very friendly. The driver going back was amazing! However, the front desk staff was excellent and recommended booking restaurant reservations immediately, which was great advice. Note: the “app” is really a website, and you need to be careful clicking things since charges can be added. Food was mostly good. The steakhouse (churrasco) and hibachi were excellent (book hibachi early). Italian was just okay with very small portions. Oceanfront restaurant was good overall. Bartenders were thoughtful and even made me a virgin drink without asking (I’m pregnant). Excursions offered by the resort gomajestic were mixed. The monkey tour (evoluation) was a terrible experience — our bag (wallet, ID, cash) was left in the shuttle, and the driver claimed nothing was there. We tracked it and believe items were taken. Very frustrating, especially since the resort partners with this company. 7 Adventure Park was much better and fun. Eat beforehand and bring snacks. Till I stayed mid-January. I chose this resort based on a day 02/2026 no one has reached out from gomajestic concerning the lost bag. Atleast a refund or something would be nice
