Family house near Amsterdam with private parking spot

You will have the luxury of a complete house. During your stay, you will be the only resident in the house, which offers you complete privacy. If you come by car, you can park your car in front of the house on the porch.

There are two spacious sleeping rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, two toilets and a bathroom with a bathtub. The first bedroom has a double bed and a fully equipped working place with keyboard, mouse and monitor. The second room is the children's room with two adult sized beds (200x90). It has a knights theme (complete with castle bed) and there is Lego and boardgames. Both rooms have a closet for your clothes.

The kitchen is fully equipped. It has an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, cooker, soda stream and all things you need for cooking like plannen, seasoning, cutlery, plates, glasses etc.

The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub. The second toilet is in the bathroom. You don't need to bring shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner as they will be in the bathroom. Also you don't need to bring towels and sheets.

In the living room there is the dinner table, the couches and television. If it is a rainy day, you can use the PlayStation or watch Netflix. If the weather is good, you can sit outside. There is usually a lot of sun, and because the patio is sheltered from the wind, it is very comfortable to sit outside. You can sit on the lounge set with soft cushions.

Neighborhood:
It is a nice and quiet neighborhood. People are friendly and there are almost no cars. Amsterdam is easy to reach by public transport. There are multiple supermarkets within walking distance, and Purmerend city center with shops, restaurants, and terraces is also close by. You can have nice walks in the area. There are a lot of parks with a lot of green and water.

The connection to Amsterdam is excellent. Every 15 minutes, a bus leaves that brings you to Amsterdam CS in just 21 minutes. Schiphol is also easy to reach, and there are a lot of nice places to visit like Volendam, Marken, and Zaanse Schans.

You can easily check in by using the key from the number safe. If you arrive early you can always get the key and leave your luggage at the house while we prepare the house for you.

Schiphol: 40 mins by train

The location is very central. It is located near the city center of Purmerend (5 min walk), the train station, the bus station, P3 pop podium, and supermarkets. From the house you can easily reach Amsterdam (30 mins) and Schiphol (40 mins) by public transport.

Travel suggestions:
Amsterdam:
You can reach the center of Amsterdam within 30 minutes. The bus station is located at less than 5 minutes of walking distance. From there, every 15 minutes, a bus leaves that will bring you to Amsterdam Central Station in just 21 minutes. From there, you can reach all the hotspots like Anne Frank museum, Rijksmuseum, and Van Gogh museum.

Schiphol:
You can reach Schiphol Airport by train within 40 minutes. It is a 5 minutes walk to the train station. Every 30 minutes, a direct train leaves to Schiphol. The trip is only 31 minutes.

Volendam:
Volendam is a nice traditional fisher town. You can easily reach it by bus in 30 minutes. It has very nice shores, boats, traditional houses and restaurants. If you're there don't forget to try the fish. Volendam is famous for its excellent fish dishes like "haring" and "kibbeling".

Zaanse schans:
If you like mills and traditional houses, you really must visit Zaanse Schans. This is a mini village with all kinds of traditional small craftmanship houses and mills. You can easily reach it by train in 30 minutes.

Parking:
The house has its own private parking spot where you can park your car. Please note that in the street it is paid parking.
