Set on a quiet, wooded hillside in the Quechee Lakes neighborhood, this sun-filled, two-story cabin feels tucked away in nature while keeping you minutes from everything that makes the Upper Valley so special.

LOCATION & SETTING
Surrounded by tall pine trees and backing up to community green space, Pine and Plaid sits on roughly one private hillside acre. Large windows and vaulted ceilings fill the main living spaces with natural light throughout the day, creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere year-round. Whether you’re here for ski weekends, summer pool days, fall foliage, a friends’ getaway, or a multi-generational family gathering, this cabin offers a calm, comfortable home base in every season.

QUECHEE CLUB ACCESS (YEAR ROUND)
A standout feature of staying at Pine and Plaid is guest access to the Quechee Club’s extensive year-round amenities, located less than 10 minutes from the house. During your stay, enjoy dining, indoor and outdoor pools, Ski Quechee downhill skiing, golf courses, tennis and paddle courts, fitness facilities, hiking trails, sledding, cross-country skiing, and Lake Pinneo with kayak and canoe rentals. MAIN LIVING SPACE
The heart of the home is the open-concept kitchen, dining area, and reading nook, all set beneath vaulted ceilings and surrounded by large windows. This bright, airy space was designed for gathering—whether that’s slow breakfasts, shared meals, board games, or simply spending time together between adventures.

KITCHEN & DINING
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything needed for full family dinners and baking projects. Guests will find kids’ dishes and cups, a drip coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, electric kettle, Crock-Pot, blender, hand mixer, and complete cookware. Bar-height counter seating for three offers a casual spot for coffee or snacks, while the dining table comfortably seats six, with room for a high chair. The dining area naturally becomes the hub of the house for meals, puzzles, and game nights.

READING NOOK / SITTING AREA
Tucked beside the dining area, the cozy reading nook features two retro swivel chairs, a side table, and a sunlit picture window overlooking the woods. It’s a favorite spot for morning coffee, quiet reading, or simply watching the light shift through the trees.

LIVING ROOM
Adjacent to the reading nook, the living room is furnished with a deep green sectional sofa with chaise—perfect for movie nights and relaxed evenings together. A 65" Roku TV makes it easy to stream movies, shows, or sports, creating a comfortable space to unwind after full days exploring the region. The Roku TV will be set to guest mode, so be sure to note any login information for your personal streaming services, as you will need these to access streaming services during your stay.

BEDROOMS (SLEEPS UP TO 8)
Pine and Plaid features four bedrooms, all similar in size and thoughtfully equipped so every guest feels equally comfortable. Each bedroom includes a full-size closet with hangers, a mini four-drawer dresser, a laundry bin, an ANKER power station with standard, USB, and USB-C outlets, a SNOOZ white noise machine for restful sleep, and blackout lined roman shades.

BEDROOM ONE
A queen bedroom located just off the living area. The closet includes an iron and ironing board for guest use.

BEDROOM TWO
A kid-friendly bunk room with a twin-over-full bunk bed. This room includes a cozy bean bag reading nook, shelves stocked with children’s books, and a closet containing a Pack ’n Play, bed bumpers for in-between sleepers, and high chair.

A bunk room located to the left at the top of the stairs, featuring a twin-over-full bunk bed and a small desk with lamp and power station—ideal for remote work or study.

BEDROOM FOUR
A cozy queen bedroom located to the right at the top of the stairs, adjacent to the upstairs full bathroom.

BATHROOMS
The cabin includes two full bathrooms, one on each floor. The main floor bathroom features a walk-in shower, while the upstairs bathroom includes a shower/tub combination, ideal for families traveling with younger children.

LAUNDRY & ENTRY
The entry/foyer near the driveway-side door includes a full laundry area with a washer and dryer, making longer stays and family travel easy. Three wall-mounted ski and snowboard hooks provide convenient storage for winter gear, while the open entry space is perfect for boots, coats, and everyday gear.
