The Space:

Only a 10-minute drive to downtown, you’ll find Ibon House at the end of a private cul-de-sac — a peaceful haven that feels a world away, yet remains wonderfully close to everything Queenstown has to offer.

Aspen Grove is an exclusive suburb, basking in spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables mountain range and downtown Queenstown. Ibon House enjoys an especially iconic position, it really is heaven on the hill.



ACCOMODATION DETAILS:

Architecture and interior design converge over multiple levels with every inch crafted to take advantage of the jaw dropping mountain and lake views.

Lower level: Four bedrooms and two bathrooms

Middle / entry level: Main living, kitchen, dining, laundry, double lock up garage and guest toilet

Upper level: 5th loft-style bedroom (master) with ensuite

Please note: all bedrooms are accessed via stairs.



KITCHEN AND LIVING:

Middle / entry level (walk-in level): Large and spacious, Ibon House maximises its spectacular views of Queenstown Bay and the surrounding mountains with floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge. A feature stacked-stone open fireplace provides toasty ambience after a day's skiing. The kitchen and dining are also on this level, enjoying the amazing outlook, along with a laundry and separate guest toilet.



OUTDOORS:

Indoor–outdoor living is an essential part of Kiwi summer living, and you will not be disappointed here! The living and dining areas open onto a private courtyard, equipped with a BBQ and ample outdoor furniture — perfect for open-air dining. There is also a private walking track leading down to a scenic lookout below the home.



GARAGE AND EXTRAS:

Finding somewhere to park your car won’t be an issue, with secure off-street parking available in the double garage and driveway.



BEDROOMS:

Four of the five bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the lower level. The master bedroom is located on the upper level. All bedrooms are accessed via stairs.

The pictures don’t do justice to the views from this property. We all just wanted to sit in the window all day! I took hundreds of pictures because I couldn’t get enough. Better than it even looks

Pictures actually don’t do this place justice, I expected views and a comfortable place, but in reality views are spectacular. From the kitchen, the bedrooms and especially the outdoor spa. It’s such a great escape place for a bunch of friends or two families. Highly recommend!

Outstanding sanctuary so close to Queenstown!

Fantastic property in a brilliant location. Views were unobstructed and and absolutely incredible. Property is a little older, but photos are a true depiction of what to expect. We were two families staying for a week and we were very comfortable with plenty of space in the middle of winter. So quiet and easy to get around. Would highly recommend and would love to go back!

Very nice spot . The view is unbeatable. Only coment would be the need for some maintenance.... toilet roll holders loose .... bathrooms are due for an update. Otherwise would be very happy to stay here again . Management was great and when we needed help Billy was our hero.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property, with stunning views over the lake. Our one small gripe was the way they handle rubbish during your stay. While the conditions of stay clearly outline how rubbish is handled, it is a hassle and this needs to made easier for the guest.

Ibon house was a great spot for a group of 9 friends to stay for a few nights. Location was amazing and views were to die for. Everything you needed was available and there were tons of places to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return if back in Queenstown. A little bit of TLC would up this from a 4.5 star rating to a 5.
