Our family had an unforgettable two week stay at the house over the Christmas/New Year holidays. The homes location is a short walk to town, right on the walking/bike path and steps away from the lake for an early morning cold plunge. The views from the home are amazing. The property management company was on top of everything and responded to all communication in a very timely manner. We had a wonderful time!
We have a group of 9 friends who travel together and this was our first stay in Queenstown. Needless to say, Lake Joella was the most amazing place to stay. We couldnât get over the views from all sides and took way too many photos out the various picture windows. Great location and has all the necessary amenities for cooking. We were met by our host when we arrived and she toured us through to make sure we knew where everything was and how it operated. Very helpful and appreciated! We will dream about coming back!
The property is breathtaking as it looks out to the Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. We hired another property on the same street so had 20 people total (10 in each house), and were able to use this property to gather and eat together, workshop together and have good conversations looking over the lake. We were able to hire a private chef who made the experience even more abundant and expansive.
All the beds are super comfy, the sauna and spa are amazing, and the views from the front rooms made us want to sleep with the blinds up so we woke up to the view.
Overall perfect.
Great property but the real standout is the company managing it.
This property suited our group of nine perfectly with just the right amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. The company managing this property were the best we have ever experienced with every minor issue taken care of efficiently and without fuss. The views from most rooms are stunning and changed hour by hour. The only issue we had was the building works happening a few doors down which meant the already tight drive was narrowed by building trucks, this is obviously a short term problem. If we owned the property we would have an outside table and chairs on the stunning central deck. It would have got a lot of use. The outside table on the other side did not get used though we did take advantage of the outside seating next to the outside gas fire. We will return!!!
