Summary:
Kia Ora and welcome to our beautiful home, which is perfectly located for fantastic views of Queenstown and only 450 metres (5 min walk, up a steep hill!) from downtown, where you will find fabulous restaurants, activities and shops.

Our home has everything you need to make your perfect Queenstown holiday memories.

The Space:
Our spacious, open-plan home with high ceilings is the perfect getaway for families, couples, or friends. It features three comfortable bedrooms with super king beds that can be split into singles, each offering stunning views of Lake Wakatipu, the Southern Alps, Queenstown village, and the Gondola.

Enjoy sunrise and sunset colors from the balcony or relax indoors with a glass of local wine. The master has an ensuite, plus there’s a main bathroom and a separate guest toilet.

The fully equipped kitchen includes induction cooking, microwave, blender, rice cooker, and more. Stay entertained with a 55” smart TV, and connected with high-speed fibre internet.

Each bedroom has heating, and the home includes air conditioning, laundry facilities, quality linens, and towels.

While just a short walk from town, the steep hill makes it best suited for guests with a car or those comfortable with the incline.

Bedroom 1: Super King Size Bed (Can Be Split Into 2 Singles)
Bedroom 2: 2 Single Beds (Can Be Made Into Super King Size Bed)

*Please let us know at least 3 days prior to your arrival. If you decide that you want the beds prepared differently to the standard configuration AFTER you arrive, there will be a charge of $100 per bed. This is for our external cleaners to come and arrange the beds and put all new linen on.

Baby Accessories - We can provide a portacot, high chair and baby bath on request at a fee of $50 . Please notify us at least 3 days prior to arrival.

Please note, no pets, no smoking indoors, and no parties are allowed.

A maximum of six guests are permitted, with at least one guest over the age of 25.

We have a dedicated free car parking space for one car (not under cover). Additional visitor car parking is also available on site, but it's on a first come, first served basis and is shared with other houses in the complex. In

The Neighborhood:
Our house is 450 metres walk (approx 5 mins) into downtown Queenstown. Please note: There are stairs to and from the property.

The house is also at the base of the Queenstown Hill walking track... where you can hike up for mind-blowing 360 degree views of the local area. Take in the spectacular views of the Remarkables, Lake Wakatipu and the gorgeous Otago scenery.

Other Things to Note:
Please be aware that the hot water cylinder is not unlimited and only has a 200 Litre capacity. Having a bath or several long showers will reduce the hot water supply significantly. Recovery time for the water to heat up again is approximately one to two hours. We recommend limiting your showers to approx. 5 minutes each person to conserve enough hot water for everyone.

Please note that we have a five day minimum booking requirement over the Christmas -New Year period.

We loved this place! The interior was very clean and updated, and the view of Lake Wakatipu was stunning. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony, gazing at the lake with glasses of wine. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, the whole package!And it was easy to walk to town (much easier than driving and finding a car park) for shopping or the supermarket, as long as you can handle the steep hill on the way back.

This was a lovely place to stay with an incredible view. We stayed three nights and had an opportunity to do laundry as well - bonus! It was clean, spacious and located close to the city. The owner is correct - that's one steep hill home. Perfect opportunity to start working off the Ferg burger! We all enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend!

The property was perfect. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The walk into town was easy where we could find plenty to do and eat. The walk back was a little challenging….but doable. It is a pretty serious hill, but you wouldn’t have the amazing views without the steep hill!!

The views from here are stunning. The walk into town was only a few minutes. The patios are nice to sit and enjoy the views. Plenty of comfortable bedding, blankets, and towels.

We had a lovely 7 night stay. Extraordinary views. Unit was quiet, clean, and well prepared. Wandering and shopping Queenstown was a delight, and the town had energy and was well stocked. Fairly touristy but understandable. One caveat is the challenging/steep hill up from Queenstown to the unit. We eventually learned how to reduce the up/down by taking nearby roads/ramps. Once you get the hang of the elevation, its manageable.Highly recommend this unit, and loved our visit.

Great location, that will test your cardio when returning to the property. It does provide stunning views of Queenstown and the Remarkables. We were also treated with beautiful sunsets during our stay. The property is in need of a refresh, it is starting to look worn. The main bedroom had a table lamp that was broken, the curtains aren’t hanging correctly and the pans were losing their ceramic coating. There were 4 of us and there was just enough room in the living area to sit.
