Brilliant stay. Views of the lake, mountains, marina superb. Very comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms convenient for our family of 4.
Great location with bus stop a few steps away, petrol station is opposite and the Frankton shopping centre close by for essentials.
Beautiful walking/bike track to Frankton âbeachâ and beyond.
A portable clothes horse would be handy because most of our clothes items cannot be tumbled dried.
The provided room description was misleading.
The room size was stated as 30 sq m whereas the actual size (bathroom included) was approximately 24 sq m. Not a big deal but this was not the only discrepancy.
For example, the room description included the following thins that actually were not present:
- full-sized refrigerator/freezer
- kitchen
- oven
- stovetop
- dishwasher
As travelers we have dietary restrictions and ability to cook is essential in our room selection. Availability of stove and oven was a deciding factor when we were booking the room. In reality, the room had a small corner cabinet with microwave, toaster and a kettle. We were very disappointed with such a misleading description.
The room itself was clean, the air conditioner worked nicely. We were unable to find Netflix on TV although this feature was also stated in the room description.
The hotel itself is closer to the airport than to Queenstown itself but we found it convenient. Even though a public transportation is an option we walked in and out of town every day using a very nice trail along the lake shore.
Nice apartments on the lakeside and overlooking The Renarkables. A short distance to Queenstown shops with bbq facilities onsite. We had an enjoyable stay and would happily recommend QS Marina to our friends
The positives: Great location right by the lake. The apartments weren't too noisy, despite being very big with lots of groups. Bed was comfortable.
The negatives: Entry details to the property were not provided. The owner was away on holidays when I contacted them and they quickly and helpfully put me on to someone who was managing the property to assist. But that person was rude and combative when all I was asking for was the door code to enter the property.
As it happens, I had guessed the entry code on my first try, so security was pretty poor.
The windows were locked and there was no key for them, so it was quite stuffy. Fortunately the A/C worked well. Bathroom ageing, so a bit of accumulated grim, but not terrible.
My family and I love this property! We love the fact that its in front of a lake, and its just breathtaking⊠heaps of parking and the house is really spacious & warm. Its actually awesome for winter đ. My only complain would be the heatpump/AC, it needs filter cleaning, but other than that, superb accomodation. Would definitely love to come back!
In the website there was no mention of the rules which were displayed when we reached the apartment. One of the crucial rules that was written in the house rules manual was that the cooking of curries was not permitted. This rule was not made known on this website and this would have altered our decision and prompted us to choose a more suitable accommodation.
Nice comfortable apartment with all amenities for stay with familly. Close to Arrowtown and Queenstown center. Especilly good for golf as all courses are 15min driving away.
Comfortable, spacious, clean. Location was a drawback as most things were not walkable and parking in Queenstown can be hard. This was not a hotel which is very deceiving given it was booked on Hotels.com. There is no front desk, no service or anything of the sort. That may be fine but travelers should know ahead of time that it is more of an Airbnb situation.
