From the minute I walked into the hotel my experience was AMAZING!!! Nakesha , was wonderful, her greeting was unmatched with comfort!! The warm fresh cookies to the welcoming smile was enough for me to stay! My room was very clean and nice! All staff at dinner Monte was very polite and kind ,breakfast Taylor, Cecilia, and the chef ,( please forgive me I didn’t get your name) , thank you for the grits, was GREAT and did the job of serving as professionals! Expedia is the issue. Expedia told me my reservation was all set. I arrive to the hotel and the receptionist told me that my reservation was canceled. But Expedia showed it as still active. I ended up having to buy a room directly from Double Tree Hotel, and I’ll likely still be charged by Expedia. The people they use for customer support is AWFUL! I will likely stop using Expedia after this incident and doubly so if I get charged twice for one stay. Double Tree was amazing. Expedia is horrible.
