The large coop gives easy access to play with our friendly hens or if you prefer clean feet reach through the egg door to enjoy fresh eggs every morning! Leave the clean-up and maintenance to me! Don't like chickens? No problem. Leave them be and you won't even know they are there.

Clean up pet waste on and off property. Do not bathe pets in the cottage. No pets on the furniture, the pack and play is for children.
Do not leave pets unattended in the cottage for any amount of time, confine them to the sunroom if you must go out.
Carpet cleaning charge is $250. If your pet makes it so that I have to do this off-schedule, I will pass this cost on to you.

Such a charming cottage

What a darling cottage. Everything was so perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. Lindy thought of everything. We are fresh eggs and enjoyed the chickens daily. Great weekend at the cottage.

Fabulous property! Exactly as pictured. Super clean and neat. The yard and gardens were beautiful and we loved watching all the birds coming to the feeders and the houses. My granddaughter especially liked gathering her own eggs for breakfast, the chicken coup was such a treat. We definately would stay again.

Family time.

My family of five enjoyed our stay at the Honeysuckle cottage recently while visiting with my daughter, son in law and grandson. The house was very clean and decorated nicely, outside was well maintained with a quaint garden front yard and bird feeders in back. The cottage had everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. My boys enjoyed the experience of collecting the chicken eggs each morning. Communication with Lindy was pleasant and informative. We will be booking again in the future when we return to Cary.

Cute and comfortable

My daughter and I stayed at Honeysuckle cottage while attending a volleyball tournament at the Raleigh Convention Center. This cottage was in a quiet neighborhood and it was nice to be able to come back to the cottage and relax after a full day of loud crowds at the tournament. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough about how kind the hostess was before and after our stay. We will definitely stay here again if able.

Perfect cottage

We used this as our base to house hunt in the Triangle. Great location!!! Our 2 month stay was perfect! The chickens were a fun extra to the house. Lindy is a thoughtful and attentive property manager. Would recommend for sure.

Comfortable, Cozy, Charming!

Lindy’s cottage is a charming space in a great neighborhood and beautiful wooded and landscaped lot. The house was beyond well stocked, to our surprise, and the host adds a sweet touch of providing pastries on arrival. Bed linens and towels were all nice quality. The chickens were a true bonus as well—our family so enjoyed having fresh eggs. we would definitely stay again. My one advice for travelers would be to bring a sound machine or ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper or plan to visit late while kids sleep. The sound tends to travel down the hall. And my one suggestion for the host is to add more towel hooks on the bathroom doors/walls so families can keep better track of towels. The real gift of this stay is that we were in town for a difficult family circumstance and on top of it had unexpected car issues when we were meant to depart. Lindy was so gracious and allowed extra time for checking out, and I was very thankful.

5 Stars is not enough!

My family was visiting for the NC Swimming State Championship and we happened upon Honeysuckle Cottage in our VRBO search. We could not have asked for a better home for our stay in Cary. My children are 10 and 14 and the highlight of their trip was checking for eggs each day. The chickens provided so much entertainment during our stay and we all enjoyed the fresh eggs each morning. The home was so quaint and had so many charming features. We will definitely be seeking out this property for future stays in Cary! Thank you for making our trip such a special weekend! Cousin Meetup

We had a wonderfully restful stay with three cousins from SC, SD and VA! Everything was readily available with still staying on a quiet cul-de-sac. The garden and backyard was beautiful. We loved the chickens! Reminded us of our childhood. Will definitely consider for our next meetup!

5 Star Hidden Gem

Our family had an amazing experience at this adorable hidden gem. Nestled in a beautiful part of Cary, NC - surrounded by gorgeous trees with lovely floral landscaping that was simply stunning. The chickens on the property were absolutely precious and were extremely friendly. Our kiddos enjoyed them immensely and were so excited to see (and eat) fresh eggs. The home is stylishly appointed and had a down home country feel. It was incredibly well stocked with every item anyone could ever need. The hostess ensured our every comfort was accounted for and even provided fresh bread from the local bakery! The cottage was minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and the city. Highly recommend this incredible home to families or couples. Definitely a 5 star stay! Our most heartfelt thanks to our wonderful hostess, Your hospitality and your home helped create beautiful memories on our vacation and for that we thank you. P.S. If anyone spots Frank the turtle in the garden - be sure to give him a quick hug from our grandson. He found Frank in Florida while on vacation last year, and hopes that someone else will ensure that Frank continues to have amazing travel adventures!
