In Ranco, on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore, we rent a villa in an elegant, reserved and quiet environment with a superb view of the lake and the Alps.
The villa is surrounded by a huge terraced garden of 3000 square meters in which there is a large swimming pool. Furnished with care and sophistication, it is ideal for holidays and up to 10 people (8 adults and 2 kids). Nearby you can take advantage of a golf course and a beautiful bike trails, nautical activities, hiking and trekking or historical cultural visits, the countless artistic and historical Lombardy and Piedmont close.
Ranco is located 45 km from Milan.
At the Ground floor, organized as a large loft with direct access to the garden, you will find the living room, a comfortable fireplace and TV area and a new modern kitchen. Close to it a sort of “studio” can be used as bedroom for two persons with its own bathroom. At the first floor there are three bed rooms with two wide bathrooms for 6 or 8 persons. At the lower level near to the children/play room, with ping pong and soccer table, there is another bedroom for two persons with exclusive bathroom.
Your peace and privacy will be assured. The swimming pool (10x5 mt) overlooks the lake and it’s immersed in nature and flower garden.

Notre sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© formidable ! La villa est juste incroyable, encore mieux qu’en photo ! La vue est Ă  couper le souffle ! Un endroit merveilleux

Wonderful place to stay

Sebastiano’s house is just a wonderful place to stay and to use as basecamp to discover the region. The view from the house, the garden, the swimming pool and the house itself : everything was great. Belle espace avec trĂšs belle vue sur le lac et les Alpes, super avec des enfants

TrÚs bel espace à vivre dans une maison qu'on sent habitée (voir la bibliothÚque par exemple). Les photos ne mentent pas du tout, notamment pour la vue, ce qui est tjs un risque quand on prend une location par internet. Nous sommes venus en famille étendue avec 4 enfants, et ceux-ci se sont littéralement éclatés (intérieur comme extérieur). Départ des ferrys à Ranco mm (prévoir une voiture pr ceux qui n'aiment pas marcher en cÎte au retour, ou si poussette) pour explorer le Lac. Début mai est toujours risqué, nous avons eu des jours superbes comme d'autres plus ingrats. Avoir un bel espace reste donc un plus ! L'aéroport de Malpensa à proximité (attention ce n'est pas le cas pour Linate) permet d'esquiver l'essentiel des bouchons des milanais venant pour le we. Le propriétaire est charmant et disponible pour des conseils.

Der Pool war nicht nutzbar - vom Vermieter außer Betrieb genommen. Matratzen eher gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig und Betten sehr nieder. Doppelstockbett nicht nutzbar - knarzte bei jeder Bewegung. FĂŒr die Jahreszeit (Herbst) fehlender WĂ€schetrockner. FĂŒr 10 GĂ€ste kennen wir aus anderen FerienhĂ€usern den 2. KĂŒhlschrank. Tolles GelĂ€nde, gerĂ€umiges Haus. FĂŒr 8 Personen angemessen. FĂŒr mehr (außer vielleicht mit Kleinkindern) problematisch - wir waren 9 Personen. Miserable Zufahrtsstraße. Weiteres ok.

What an amazing place to spend a couple of summer weeks! A well-equipped villa with a wonderful open-plan living area, big garden, large pool and a view that takes your breath away. We could easily walk downhill to the village but be prepared for an uphill return. Communication with the owner was excellent and all questions were answered promptly and fully. Even at the busiest time of year, the area around Ranco is not overcrowded, with plenty to do and easy boat access to the busier areas of the lake for those who want it. We will be back!

Traumvilla

Was soll ich sagen. Die Bilder des Anwesens sind schon beeindruckend. In Natura bestĂ€tigt sich Alles. Die Wohnung so großzĂŒgig. Das GrundstĂŒck mit ganz vielen BĂ€umen und StrĂ€uchern. Der Pool so gepflegt und sauber. Wir waren zu acht (61 bis 2 Jahre). Und haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Das Highlight fĂŒr mich ist die riesige SchiebetĂŒr im Wohnzimmer, die geöffnet, die Natur in den Raum holt. Der Kontakt mit Sebastiano war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Ganz klar 10 von 10 Punkten.

Fantastic Villa with a world class view

We were a group of 10 consisting of 6 adults and 4 teenagers. Overall the villa is fantastic. The view over the lake is about as good as it gets. The grounds are spacious and the pool is pretty big and could accommodate all of us. We never felt on top of one another. Inside it’s spacious and over three floors with three spacious bedrooms on the first floor., a single on the ground floor and a double on the lower ground. The kitchen is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Communication with the owners was first class and they were really helpful. The town of Ranco is very small but there are three restaurants within walking distance, a great bar on the lake, a brilliant deli and a pharmacy. You can also get the ferry to other parts of the lake. The only minor niggle is the water pressure which can be a little weak if two people are having a shower at the same time
 but it really was no big deal for us. All in all a great villa and would have no hesitation to recommend or stay again.

Top family holiday resort!

Everything is as good as in the deskription and the reviews! Everything is clean and new. Fantastic view from both the house and the very big garden. We were 4 children aged 2, 3, 4 and 5 and 6 adults and we all had a perfect vacation. The is space for all - including privacy. The pool is perfect! Very convenient with bars, restaurants and a supermarket in the area.

Mega Aussicht riesiges Haus

Ein toller sauberer Pool und sehr nettem Vermieter..mit grandiosem Weitblick ĂŒber den See Die Zufahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und mit dem Van schon sehr tĂŒckisch das fehlt vielleicht in der Beschreibung. Der Garten ist riesig und weitlĂ€ufig und eingezĂ€unt und bietet genug Platz zum spielen. Das Haus ist riesig mit genĂŒgend Platz und BĂ€dern die KĂŒche ebenfalls sehr groß. Es fehlt eine traditionelle deutsche Kaffeemaschine und ein elektrischer Wasserkocher aber das ging auf dem Gasherd auch sehr gut👍 Im alten Holztisch waren ein paar Mitbewohner aber alles nicht dramatisch. Die Fenster haben alle Fliegengitter die MĂŒcken waren dieses Jahr leider unerbittlich. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub

Very well tended and cultivated house and garden, quiet neighbourhood. Almost everywhere wonderful view to the lake. House and kitchen is well equipped, all in very good condition. The hirer is very friendly and helpful and can always be reached at the mobile phone. We did enjoy our stay time very much and surely we will return. We really can recommend it 100%.

The property itself was in great condition, very clean and was very comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need for a weeks stay. The views from the villa were beautiful, with seating for dining indoors and outdoors set up to get the best value of these. Thank you to Sebastiano, for making our stay so comfortable. They detailed visitor guide you compiled gave us great information of where to go and what to see in the area as well as the great tips on where to eat! We will be visiting again in the future.

Wunderschön!

Die Lage des Hauses - oberhalb eines kleinen Ortes mit wundervollem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore - ist kaum zu toppen. Wunderschönes, großes Haus mit riesigem Garten und schönem, großzĂŒgigem Pool. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt!

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Lago Maggiore.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar. Leider gibt es fĂŒr deutsche Urlauber keinen Fernsehempfang und der weite Weg hinunter zum Pool bzw. wieder hinauf zum Haus, war etwas beschwerlich, da das Haus auf dem riesigen GrundstĂŒck am Hang liegt.
