We didn’t really have contact with any staff during our stay. We had pre paid and you called a phone number to check in. We needed more towels but did not have a ready way to contact staff. The radiator in our room did not work. We believed breakfast was included as did some other guests only to find out that was not the case. On a positive note it was clean and guests could use the kitchen if they wanted to.

Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit au sein de la guesthouse. Les chambres et salle de bain sont moderne. Cependant, nous n’avons jamais rencontré l’hôte et nous avons du l’appeler via un téléphone présent dans le gîte afin qu’il nous donne le numéro de notre chambre. De même nous ne l’avons pas trouvé au check-out. Nous avons trouvé ça un peu étrange.

I don’t know if it’s the culture problem or what, I really don’t like they requested people to take off shoes to enter the house. The floor was not that clean and I didn’t feel comfortable with no shoes on my feet! Flies everywhere, in the kitchen, bathroom and my room! Yes, there’s kitchen but you can only use from 5 to 8 pm! Not breakfast time because they made to order breakfast ! No daily cleaning! Area is nice and peaceful! Also when you enter you need to call them to get your room, no on site person. if you don’t speak English or Icelandic, or other European languages, that may be a problem.

Nice place. I had room 1 so it was a bit noisy next to kitchen and front door. Beautiful area. Easy check in. Really nice kitchen for evening use. They serve breakfast as well. Mattress was a bit soft and springy

This is a lovely guesthouse about 10 minutes off of the main road. This meant it was a quiet location, which was actually surrounded by farms and farm animals. It was a beautiful location! We had a small room with a private bath, but there was a shared bath across the hall that was clearly marked that it was only for two rooms to use. We spent some time in the evening chatting with other guests which was fun. We did not stay for breakfast, but it looked like a nice spread and the breakfast room was lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

A very clean and nicely decorated room / property in a beautiful area. We arrived on the first day in Iceland after sightseeing a few places instead of staying in the Reykjavik area. However I didn't feel the staff friendly...

The location was nice! Close to a few towns and the ferry for the Westman Islands and the waterfalls! The rooms were clean as well as all the common areas! This was the first time at a guesthouse so wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a nice stay!

The owner / host was very kind. They offered make your own waffles with the breakfast if you pay for it. Google maps is wrong on giving directions. The neighbor had a horse which my daughter enjoyed petting

It is a lovely stay! Lovely rooms, modern bath. Friendly people and I saw how delicious the breakfast looked like - unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy it as we had to leave early. And: they had sheep and Iceland ponies. Would come back anytime. Highly recommended!
