Great experience, felt right at home.

Great location for the Golden Circle and Aurora hunting. Host was super helpful, friendly, and communicative. Made guests waffles in the morning. You can store food in fridge or freezer. Kitchen is great for prepping own meals. Coffee and tea is available! Rooms were clean and comfortable

The rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. The waffles for breakfast were delicious. This guesthouse is stocked with anything you need, including a communal kitchen and living space. We only had one hiccup when checking out of the accommodation but it was minor. We were in a rush to catch a ferry so I was a little stressed. Be prepared to show your Expedia full payment receipt.

Beautiful property with wonderful hosts. Probably our favourite spot we stayed at during our trip. Rooms were spacious and clean, with bathrooms. The area around the property is also beautiful. The cherry on top was the waffles in the morning! I would go out of my way to stay here again.

Very clean guesthouse! As soon as you walk in you get such a pleasant smell. The kitchen has some stuff you can use. The check in process was so easy. They don’t offer breakfast but they do offer free waffles, coffee and tea. Highly recommend this spot, I was very impressed. We stayed at other guesthouses and this one is the top one!!

Very nice owner and though breakfast isn’t provided, they serve freshly made wafers and coffee/ tea in the morning. The room is big and comfortable and the property is well appointed to see the Aurora. We could see some Icelandic horses next to the property.

Very clean. Easy to find. Great shower. Nothing around the guesthouse, but a very good restaurant not too many miles away at a local hotel.

Great One Night Stay

Spent one night at Loa’s Nest. Everything was so clean! The waffles and coffee in the morning were such a nice treat to start our day. The hostel hosts and staff were so so kind. Would highly recommend! :)
