Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.
Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.
Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

We had a wonderful time. It is a great location to all the tourist activities throughout the area. The guy who checked us in was so kind and spent much time explaining activities for us to do while on our vacation. We appreciated how quiet the resort is and family-friendly. Also, reasonably priced.

Just what we needed!

The cabin was very, very clean. We enjoyed having the kitchenette to make breakfast ourselves and the two bedrooms for the boys to have their own space. I walked to the lake each morning and we sat outside many evenings. It was close enough to the tourist destinations, but far enough away to feel private and calm! Would definitely stay here again!

Very Cozy!

This vacay was super smooth as far as finding and renting this cabin. The price was perfect. Easy check in, the rental was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Just a quick run to grocery store and we were set. Location was super close to all the touristy things we wanted to do. Short walk to lake, theres a playground, and even made friends with cabin next door. I was thoroughly impressed with this rental, would recommend it and stay again.

Great place to stay with families. Place is very well maintained. Very friendly and amazing host, took care of our late checkin. Stay is near to all locations and scenic drives. Definitely will visit again.

Great location!

Our family loved this cabin. During our stay we explored Custer, Rushmore and Wind cave. We intended on renting a paddle boat on the lake but ran out of time. Very nice that each room had a box fan already in there. Our kids wants to come again next year

Stayed here for the Rally

So glad we chose to stay here. It was great to get away from the bustle of the rally, but still meet fellow rally-goers. I thought we would have wanted to be all up in the action of the rally, but this was actually perfect to get away without being far away. Rapid is a very big town with everything we needed and centrally located to all ride routes and highways. The staff here were wonderful and the guests were respectful and very fun.

Amazing location in Rapid City!

This was the perfect place for my family of 4 to stay as we enjoyed all that Black Hills had to offer. 10-15 minute drive from most of the attractions we planned to visit and the fact that its on a lake really made the decision to book it easy. Its a big lake with lots of docks and run off ponds all around it, with playground areas. Honestly even better than the photos show! The cabin was clean and well stocked, it had everything we needed and felt private even though there were occupants all around us. We only visited the office to get our keys but the process was quick and easy. Awesome that we had a picnic table and grill at our cabin as well. I am already telling all my friends they should stay here and that we should all take our families back and rent cabins together. Would be an ideal place for a family reunion. Thank you Lake Park Campground & Cabins!

The cabin was the perfect spot for my friends and I.

We loved the location of the cabins, it didn’t take us long to go anywhere where we wanted. We thought the the cabin was very clean and loved that it had enough space for all of us. We enjoyed walking around the lake and playing horseshoes. The dishes were really convenient to have since we cooked every meal. We all loved the trip so much, we are talking about planning another stay sometime soon!

Clean, simple, convenient

Simple but nice cabin for our family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked and loved that every cabin has its own gas grill. Kids loved the playground and watching the deer right out our window. Good location for exploring the area.
