Cozy bungalo near restaurants, downtown, and Black Hills

Cute nicely furnished home with everything you need. Picnic space in yard, parking in alley, and one stall garage that is only large enough for 1 or 2 motorcycles. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, and 1 mile from downtown. Easy access to black hills, Mount Rushmore, and other attractions. Just listed on VRBO and is rated 4.85 on other sites (I am a Superhost). The property has a laundry room and well-stocked kitchen. It is cooled via a window AC unit that does a nice job cooling the house.

Just needs a few tweaks.

The house was nice enough, but the faucet in the bathroom dripped, and there were a few things that needed to be screwed together. But overall a satisfactory place to stay.

What a great location to enjoy all the Black Hills offers! The AC unit could use a little help. It didn't cool the house down for evening sleeping. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!

Mom's Bucket List

Mom always wanted to see Mount Rushmore and the Badlands and this listing was perfect for us. Very centrally located for all the exploring we did. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Review of VRBO cozy bungalow

The house is small, old, and in need of some repair. The biggest issue is that it only has one bathroom. In addition, there is only one window air conditioner in the living room. The bedrooms were cooled by box fans. We were there in August, and it got pretty warm at times. The owner provided some nice touches such as laundry detergent and supplies in the laundry room. The kitchen was also well stocked and everything was in working order. The furniture and beds were comfortable and there were adequate linens and towels.

Pretty Good Place to Stay

Place wasn't huge but big enough for myself and 4 teenage boys. No central air but there's a window unit & (3) fans; we made it work. there's a Safeway about 2 blocks away; we stocked up on food and cooked all our meals. The ignitor on the gas grill doesn't work but I made a torch to light it; we used it 2 nights to BBQ. The home was pretty centrally located to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again as the price was the best I could find for needing 5 beds.

We did not arrive till after dark and the property was hard to find. The beds and towels were clean but it appeared the house itself had not been cleaned.

Great home base to explore Western South Dakota

Great bungalo that is well stocked with just about anything you might need for a home base to explore the area. Three bedrooms (two with queen beds and one with a bunk bed), laundry with detergent and dryer sheets, dishwasher; kitchen fully stocked with broad array of cooking pots and pans, food storage, and cleaning supplies; coffee maker, spices, condiments, etc. tv, wifi, parking, shower with shampoo and conditioner. All with close proximity to groceries (2 blocks away), coffee, and restaurants; close to major attractions in the area... In short, it's a great home base for couples and families.

Perfect “home” feeling even on vacation

Location was easy to get to and from venues and attractions in the area, large kitchen which is great for our larger group, very clean and usable and the window a/c unit was a lifesaver. Thanks for the stay!

Great house in perfect location

We did all the touristy stuff and the house was perfectly located - close to everything as well as being in a city with amenities! Window AC did not do a good job in the bedrooms, so if you run hot, it might be hard to sleep in the summer.

Nice place to land after each day!
