We loved our stay at Fairfield! There were a few things that made me scratch my head...the breakfast was a HOT mess. I understand it was a Fall Break weekend but holy Hannah Montana....when my daughter and I made it through the ten minute wait, everything was gone! We had cold cereal... The coffee was even gone. Also, the seating was sparse... Our room was clean and we'll stocked with clean towels and pillows. The only thing I found off was the AC unit only hit the bed in front of it.... I bet new beds had been purchased cause they were extra comfy...but I don't think the height and AC unit were taken into account....

We loved the pool. The only drawback of the hotel was the presence of the local box elder bugs. We had no idea and there was no communication that this may happen prior to our arrival. They were visible around the ac unit, floors and walls. We were not local and traveling with children. A little information would have been appreciated. When asked about the bugs hotel staff said they were harmless and to switch rooms there was no guarantee that they would be bug free. The bugs were up to an inch long.
